Can't move the on screen mouse while on the Police Computer

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have just installed GTA IV on steam (purchased it during their sale) and I installed LCPDFR and the problem i'm having with it is when I try and access the computer database in a squad car, it will not let me move the on screen mouse at all. There is no way to close the computer either and results me having to reload the game.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I also have this same issue. The mouse works fine on the computers in the internet cafes and whatnot but the mouse does not work at all in the LCPDFR computer. I have done a complete reinstallation of LCPDFR and that has not fixed the issue. The only input the LCPDFR computer seems to read is the enter key. I can't escape out of it or anything. I'm then forced to restart my game. This issue occurs on both a stock GTA IV game and a stock EFLC game.

Here is my lcpdfr.log for my EFLC game

http://pastebin.com/PZbYPxHY

Here is my lcpdfr.log for my GTA 4 game

http://pastebin.com/ghBY9NNP

There are many other threads with people who had the issue before but the threads were all deleted and/or locked so I have never found an resolution for this issue.

Same here, no controls work. Its not even possbile to close it. ESC dosent work.

No way to deactivate.

Help.

I can confirm that the Mouse Sensitivity was the issue. Thanks for your help and glad to be able to finally play this great Mod.

  • 1 month later...

i only have ENB 0,79 and ELS

OK thats prob' it then. I had ENB installed and was using the "force antialiasing" function. This works by resizing you image. so the game thinks the image is one size and enb forces it to another size and things like the compiter and the red markers in game next to drivers windows etc all mess up.

There is no work around for this other than in the ENB .ini file making "ForceDisplaySize=false and ForceAntialiasing=false instead of true.
