Looks like Origin is trying to pull some more customers their way by giving away free games, I'm not going to complain :P

Cehck out their current On the House game https://www.origin.com/en-ca/store/on-the-house-ANW.html

And enjoy :D -Snip-, don't ask for Rep Points. -Staff.

I'll gladly bash EA for their awful business moves, but Origin isn't one of them, I actually find it better than Steam. I've never had connection issues with Origin, their support service is extremely helpful (big problem with Steam) and they have reasonable prices in Europe (hello Gamefly/GMG/GamersGate).

Steam looses connection every day, their games are overpriced in mainland Europe ($55 for Wargame:RD, $70 for Watch_Dogs) and Origin's DRM works as well as Steam's.

I don't know what's up with EA, they screw up the games all the time while Origin keeps improving. It certainly doesn't feel like EA is trying to grab as much money from me as Valve does with Steam.

I think it might just be Europe, because the cost isn't too bad for those within the Untied States. Wargame: RD is $40.00 USD and $30.00 USD if you owned the previous title. Additionally, Watch_Dogs is only $60.00 USD for us as well. Could it be that it's simply local laws and taxes that are increasing the sales costs and not Steam?

Welp, looks like it worked.

I just reinstalled Origin & am currently downloading Dead Space.

Heard a lot about Dead Space, wanted to try it since a while now, good I waited. At least get DS1 for free, lol
