First it is the NSA then it is the CIA...What a shock our government agencies are spying on our own people, and that's okay....But....spying on politicians, that's bad!

So the real question is....Is it okay for the government to abuse their power to "protect" the American people and for them to do it some what illegally?  

 

Now I do understand some of you have different feelings than I, I am very angry at the fact that our government THINKS THEY CAN BREAK constitutional laws (that protects the people) in "order" to protect the nation and national security. Yes the government's job is to protect the people, but NO ONE checks the government in order to make sure they are doing everything within reason (the U.S. government thinks they can regulate it's self)

 

2nd question: Why does "no one" seem to really care that the government is being allowed to do something like this?

You know what man, I wouldn't send my government a letter because they know it's wrong and just don't care, they're probably reading this right now, they have their heads shoved so far up their own asses they can't even trust their own employees because they are so paranoid everyone & their dog is a terrorist.. If I want to watch porn I don't want some douche knowing what I'm looking at, wheres the terrorist explosion going to be? on my screen? like really, Stephen Harper is just a big a goof as any other Politian & he's quite funny looking.

haha yeah feinsten is one of the biggest hypocrites and she needs to go to an old folks home or better yet in prison... its ok for them to illegally spy on us but they get antsy pantsy when they get spied on taste of her own medicine, some of these people need to be voted out they been in for way to long

The main point isn't what you do on your PC, it's the fact that someone else, other than you, can see it.

Unless they had a judicial order they shouldn't be permitted to do that. Even if I have nothing to hide I still have the right to privacy.

 

Anyway, what can be expected from a criminal organization such as the CIA, supporter of fascist regimes and their repression.

This thread IS about the CIA. their entire existence and what they do is a conspiracy theory.

Everything you said is what I wish people would start realizing. The American people can be very ignorant and don't seem to understand what can happen when YOUR OWN GOVERNMENT IS SPYING ON YOU. But no one seems to care unless it is happening to them.
