Thankyou. So how does this work? I'm still a little confused and sorry if I've missed it but I'm guessing we're just using LCPD:FR in multiplayer and we are arresting actual players not npc's? Can you physically arrest a player? Never played it before on multiplayer :s

You take a call from outstanding calls and it will transfer you to your inquiries. From there, you roleplay how that incident will go.

You don't have to respond on calls, you can generate your own incident in my inquiries by pressing add case. The possibilities for having great fun are pretty much endless.

Ahhhhhh I get it now, really nice piece of kit you have made! Is it possible to use LCPD:FR mulitiplayer by any chance?

This is a great tool right here. I love using it to file my reports and stuff.

You can play LCPDFR in single or multiplayer, doesn't matter. MDC is there just to bring more fun to the game itself.

Hey guys, this is mainly my opinion, ive played for a few hours, and everytime i hit generate persons, i almost ( 65% ) always get a person whos already incarcerated. I just though I'd mention it. Im pulling people over for weird things and having to take them to jail ;p. I think that might show up to often, but thats just me i guess. Anyways, EXCELLANT work on everything else.!

One last thing I wish to inform you all of: we may be able to link the system into the game and it's something we're looking into (access from within the game, spawn incidents and such like, some parts of the system might need to be overhauled for this too) I don't think I need to highlight how much more enjoyable this would make the system. I'm also pretty sure it's possible to have a map with all available officers' locations (whether in single or multi-player, linked through a script) that would be quite a handy resource for everyone, Dispatchers in particular.

This sounds great but is it worth it? I mean with GTA V coming out, surely everyone who can afford it is going to play on that. By the time that you are done, the new gta might be out so I see it kinda pointless but that's just my opinion. I don't know how modable the new one is going to be

Yes but if you think about all the previous GTA releases since GTA III, first release has been on the console and it has generally been about a year until the PC version is released and another solid year until the mod community has matured enough to release high quality mods. I think while we'll play GTA V when it's released, LCPDFR will be played for a while to come

The cycle is pretty much what Dramacydal503 said. So, Like I did with IV, I'll play the game first on the console. When the mods get good for the PC version (and when it finally makes it to the PC) I'll pick it up then. Till that happens I'll be right back here playing LCPDFR during the downtime.

It seems like I keep getting the "incorrect details" message while I know for sure I am giving the correct password.I was a prosecutor as well but have been inactive for quite some time due to work and studies. Hey guys! i just got prosecutor status, I do have a few questions, for the custody... do i do anything.. or CAN i do anything with them? It says something about doubling as prosecutors, i see theres a ton of people in custody managment? DO i do anything from that screen? Second, im sifting through write-offs, often times i just close the case as people were warned or cited, or couldnt be found ect. I dont need to leave any comments or do anything further? Correct?

Update, ok so.... now im confused lol, when i look at write offs, i can submit them and close them, when i try for crime reports it tells me i need prosecutor status, so maybe i dont have it at all? Or i do and its a bug, i applied for it awhile ago, im not sure if you have enough yet, so maybe this is all a pointless post haha.

For custody leave them there if the reason for custody is valid of course and proceed with that case (usually when somebody is arrested, you get criminal report). Some officers don't use "GENERATE PERSON(S) AT INCIDENT" so they enter a random name which of course isn't in a database. If you're writing off, look at other prosecutor's work.

For your last question I'm not quite sure I fully understood you...

I seem to have the same problem. Just this morning, everything was fine. Now, whenever I try to prosecute or write off, I get the message "you don't have prosecutor status" although I clearly do.

Must have been a bug then.
