I was making one of my first proper LCPD:FR video's, which is why it's a bit slow (still getting use to the controls). I'll give it a go on ELFC - I just got it on Steam. I did play with LCPD:FR yesterday but it turns out it doesn't like me haha. I have it on video where I went to a domestic disturbance. Arrested the guy but I some how went inside of him and became invisible O.O - I do have a trainer but I turn't keys off. Then about 5 minutes later, this.. Thanks guys, it worked. Replaced the Dsound.dll file by installing LCPD:FR again. Only problem that I have left is, I was spawning cars with ELS via the trainer. Most cars were fine until I got to Police2 then it crashed. Went back on, spawned police2 and it was fine so I don't think it's the vehicle its self. I have noticed that the sound of the vehicles doesn't work until I drive them for a while. Example, I get in my car and there is no vehicle sound. Drive around and then it springs to life and starts working. Really appreciate your time and help guys. This sounds great but is it worth it? I mean with GTA V coming out, surely everyone who can afford it is going to play on that. By the time that you are done, the new gta might be out so I see it kinda pointless but that's just my opinion. I don't know how modable the new one is going to be

Thankyou for the help people. It's working fine now, textures are a bit slow loading which kinda sucks but the graphics it's self look quite good. Just a quickie, I have a Dodge Challenger police car but I don't like it. I want to keep it cause the skin matches the skins of my other cars. The ELS seems to muck up on it quite a bit. The lights will turn off or stop working and then start working again when I have auto on and the sirens. Any fix? Ok I just replaced - Ambulance - Firetruck - Noose - FBI - Police - Police 2 - Polmav - Helicopter.ivaud Added First Person.ini and First Person.asi. Also replaced dsound.dll EDIT: Ran the diagnostics tool and there was 1 error. ASI Loader out of date. Anyone got an in-date ASI loader and will this fix my problem? Now my GTA IV boots up and about a second or so before I actually get into the game, it takes me back to the desktop with no error message or anything. Took out both First Person files and it still doesn't work. Tried looking at the resource monitor but there is nothing for todays date :s EDIT: Fixed removed 2 files of First Person and not all 3 Now I have a problem when I play. Does the same as my first problem but it's alot sooner as in a few seconds in or when I try and start ELS. Make sure you have dsound.dll, scripthook and scripthook.net(?) along with your 1.0.4.0 | 1.0.7.0 patch. Place all the files in C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV This should hopefully work. I don't think it always works depending on how high poly your cars are but I am probably wrong.

I had this problem a while back but for me it was because all my cars were too high poly O.O

Try uninstalling then seeing if your GTA iv main directory folder is still there. If it is delete it then reinstall. Might help

My GTA Includeds: - Some ENB /w textures - Modded cars - New hud, colours, guns, player models ect ect - Indicator script - ELS - Trainer - Traffic Load - PATCH 1.0.7.0 - Scripthook, Scripthook.net, Advancedhook.dll, Crashhook.dll - LCPD:FR RC2 R2 Game was fine until I added LCPD:FR - Game crashes a few seconds into game if I start a police chase, shooting, explosions, anything dramatic. Come up with the GTA IV has stopped working error. I want to play with modded cars, guns, ENB ect to make it more realistic but I cant put my finger on what is making my game crash and I'm sure it's LCPD:FR. It's always been a bit buggy for me. Example is it will stop after about 3 call outs or if I press NUMPAD 0 my arm points in the air or goes floppy with any weapon I have. Rather annoying. Can anyone help?
