Not sure if anyone has seen this, but I thought it was one of the better or at least most promising/legitimate looking of the leaks yet:

Here, https://googledrive.com/host/0B-JdId1SslCJNEIweDFobGl2MzA/builds.xml, you can find what is supposedly a massive collection of changelogs from Rockstar's internal bug tracking system, which seems to be aptly named Devstar.

 

Perhaps the most interesting things to take away, or certainly the things I noticed, were that the PC version has supposedly been in development since at least 2012, and there is also mention of a 'CnC' online mode, which seems to be quite in-depth, featuring bug reports such as:

• If a Cop uncuffs a Crook off mission, the Crook will still be teleported to the Precinct during the animation.
• Player could not deliver Crook in custody to precinct garage, no custody bar present while Crook is being herded.
• CnC Snitches - No snitches spawning for Cops. 
•  'My Stats' box is not displaying for Cop players 
• Cop player could not arrest any crook players. Arresting anim scene did not start for the cop only.
• "Take Custody" appears after arresting a solo Crook despite the fact that they cannot be taken into custody.
• Player crashes / hangs when entering or flying the helicopter on prison break

 

 

 

I had seen the PCGamer article, and it is the most promising evidence as of yet. Still, R* develops GTA V for the PC and these could just be old bug reports. CnC could be implemented later into GTA Online. 

What's more convincing is the mentioning of Dx11 and more "PC like stuff". Still hoping for a PC version.. Thanks for sharing Sam. 

It's starting to look very good for GTA V on PC!

This does seem pretty legitimate, except for one thing. Why would you use Google Drive? Rockstar should be capable to set up their own server to store files on, which would prevent this exactly. I'm sure they don't want their plans getting leaked out to the public, because that would probably interrupt everything in the development process some way or another if the public know. Then again, this could be deliberate of them, because they may want to put the rumors to a stop and give the public hints that it is in fact coming. That's very interesting, Sam! Yeah, and they also wouldn't title it it 'Leaked Bug Logs' (detect sarcasm)

 

Rockstar will have them on their own servers, these will have been leaked into the public domain.

The person that leaked them put them on Google, not R*.  It looks like all of Rockstar's stuff is on https://devstar.rockstargames.com, which is accessible only on their internal network.

Well, it could be that someone uploaded it to Google Drive?

I'm surprised about the fact that we still haven't seen a single DLC trailer

 

Other games woulda released some DLCs by now.

 

I mean, R* would be beyond stupd if they wouldn't do lots of DLCs for the most successful game ever

 

Most people shoulda beaten the game now

first the leaked audio dispatcher files now this, there's definitely a cop n crooks coming, but can't be 100% sure yet.

Hope we can chose if we want a short sleeve or one with long sleeves and a tie. And can decide to wear a hat or not.

 

And hopefully the uniforms can be worn outside the CnP mode. Wonder if we only get to wear LSPD ones or also from other authorities.

 

I'd actually prefer a police DLc for singleplayer mode, one like LCPDFR.

 

The dispatch files are actually more convincing than this but combined... damn, let's hope it comes true

At this point, leaks or not, I'm almost positive there will be a PC release. This leak also leads me to believe the video I posted a few days back (which was taken down by Take2 almost immediately) of the settings screen showing memory use and other PC options had some legitimacy. 

The only thing I'm sort of not so enthusiastic about is this CnC you guys speak of. I'm guessing it stands for CopsnCrooks, meaning we'll have something like LCPDFR integrated into the game. And that's when my enthusiasm is lost. I love this mod and the community and I don't really want it to change or go under. If we are getting a PC version, unless this magically has only one file, being the .exe file, we will definitely be able to mod it, deeming the CnC mode useless. Unless! LCPDFR stops making the LCPDFR script which also works with various other mods. I'm sorry if I'm speaking nonsense, it is 1:05 AM, but does anyone see where I'm going here?

Just want to make a point that Rockstar have been very pro-active in building GTA Online. As an entirely new experience.

If their new project is making this GTA Online platform so good nobody cares for the single player then why would they stop and go "let's make DLC for singleplayer only"

And by bringing out DLC for GTA V you would then also get huge amounts of server changes and compatibility problems as people try to join online but get booted out for not having the dlc.

 

Just a couple of thoughts that's all.

Yay! :D It probably is the most legitimate source, but as mentioned on almost every "GTA V for pc?" topic. I wouldn't go jumping for joy too much. Rockstar hasn't made it explicit...

I'm still excited though. :)
