Hi. I just wanted to know how I can get one of those wooden, blue police barriers to spawn behind my police cruiser while I'm in it? What do the police helper settings have to be and then how do I do it in game?

Have you read the vdh police helper readme? 

You can do it with trainer, I believe it is called cj_barrier_2 on the first page, then adjust the spawn distance also on the first page. 0 is right under the player, the rest you will need to do a bit on playing around

I know all of this --- Like I said up there (^^^^) it doesn't work. When I press the keys (Ctrl+z) nothing happens.... Idk, I'll try pressing the keys a few times in a row to see if it works.

I have default settings for policehelper and i tested it for 1.0a and it works as intended.  (I never used the spawn behind car barrier in LCPDFR 0.95)

It works on the first key press,  i dont need to double tap it.  With the POLICE(CVPI) and POLPATRIOT(which i have a F150 installed) it spawns behind perfectly.

 

Really hard to diagnose with the many different configs and bindings any person can have.

 

Probably not the first time you have heard this,  but double check for key conflicts.  

I have run upto 6 different scripts at one time and CTRL+Z seems pretty unique to me so that is a little odd.

Sometime I have to hit CTRL+Z several times, while moving the camera around a bit.  For some reason the barriers spawn more consistently when panning around while hitting the keys.  Works better when in 1st person view as well, probably easier to spawn in 1st person.

Okay. I'll maybe take a look at it. If anything I'm comfortable with just getting out of the car and doing it. Thanks guys!
