Couldn't tell you really, Try going to "Canyourunit.com" It tests your PCs specs to the actual game specs and it will Let you know if you can play it, For ex.

If I entered battlefield 4, I would probably land in the Minimal category, If I was the put in counter strike, Or any other valve game I would land in the recommended. However it will also let you know if you can't play it at all.

I use that for ANY game I buy, Its quite trustworthy

Please post your full system specs instead, those are quite minimal.

1. Go to Piriform and download “Speccy”. http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download/standard

It's not a gaming laptop. You might be able to run it at medium or something, unmodded, depending on how big the monitor is

I just use futuremark as a reference since they test different hardware mainly for gaming though they're a bit biased towards Intel on the CPU side of things.

You should be fine running mid-range stuff as far as ENBs/mods go.

You'll probably have to play on lower settings though as far as antialiasing goes and filtering.

So, if I install GTA IV, would I lag and be multiplayer, would I lag out? I am definitely not going to install EMB

It isn't a gaming labtop, but you should have no problems running it on Medium settings without EMB. If you can run it SP your should be fine MP as long as you have a decent internet connection. Like someone said, www.systemrequirementslab.com makes it very easy to see if you can or can't run it. I don't see a problem though. Congrats

So, If I play, I won't have lag what so ever, would I lag sill if I put it as High settings?

Yes. You'll probably have lag at medium settings if you install any visual mods.

Can you tell me what mods I should not install that would make my GTA slow.

Try not to install any/too many ELS mods, they cause lots of lag because of the constant parts being added and taken off of the car.

Visual mods, like explained above, may cause lag. Timecycles should be fine (for example, Sgt.Kanyo's) but things like ENB and ICE will lag the game, hardcore.

High poly items may cause texture disappearances but have a small change of causing lag. Some texture mods might also cause small lag.

If there is anything I missed, please let me know.

Could someone like add a picture of there game settings so I don't forget what to put on there?

I found that these setting will make your pc run smooth

In your in game settings change these and see if it helps

texture quality = high or medium

shadow quality = off

night shadows = off

reflection resolution = off

water quality = low

detail distance = 1

view distance = 1

vehicle density = 20

and turn clip capture off in the game settings

Laptops aren't very good for high-end games, unless it's an AlienWare.

When you're buying AlienWare, you're buying a brand name.

My laptop is more powerful than most AlienWare computers for a fraction of what it costs to own one.

Asus, mainly Asus ROG laptops, are top of the line for their price.

This is my laptop, which I haven't found a game yet that wouldn't run on it. (Asus J73JW)

  • 17.3-inch 1080p (1920x1080) display with LED backlighting
  • Windows 8 64-bit
  • Intel Core i7-740QM processor (1.73GHz/2.93GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB L3 cache)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M with 1.5GB GDDR5 Memory
  • 8GB DDR3-1066 RAM (4x2GB)
  • Two 500GB 7200RPM hard drives (Seagate Momentus 7200.4/ST9500420AS) (Non-RAID)
  • Atheros AR9285 802.11n Wireless LAN adapter
  • Built-in Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
  • Blu-ray reader/8X DVD Super Multi drive
  • 8-cell battery pack (14.8V, 5200mAh, 75Wh)
  • Weight: 8.79 pounds
  • Dimensions: 16.3" (W) x 12.6" (D) x 1.8" (H)

It caught fire once however (I had a G73JH), but Asus replaced it with JW. Thats mainly because I use it A LOT with heavy load 24-7 (I design/develop games and software).
