Youtube Full Screen Bug

Featured Replies

Hey guys. I am using Google Chrome and trying to watch Youtube, but on certain videos there is a glitch w/ full screen. There are very large, and I mean LARGE, borders on the bottom and right of the screen, leaving only about half the page left for the video. This really annoys me and I would like to fix it, but don't know how. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't, and if it does it only happens on certain videos. If anyone knows how to fix this/why it happens, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

I have actually fixed it minutes after, thank you though.

How did you fix it?

I'm having pretty much the same problem on some YouTube videos.

Yep, it happened yesterday on my laptop aswell but I rarely use my laptop so it isn't a big deal and I think it is and issue with chrome (I normally use Firefox, but it wasn't working)

Yes, do what Anello said. What you have to do is go to chrome://plugins (copy/paste to your bar at the top), click on the +Details button all the way on the right, and when that pops open, there should be 2 Adobe Flash Player files to Disable.

Disable the PepperFlash File:

Name:

Shockwave Flash
Description: Shockwave Flash 11.9 r900
Version: 11.9.900.170
Location: C:Program Files (x86)GoogleChromeApplication31.0.1650.63PepperFlashpepflashplayer.dll
Type: PPAPI (out-of-process)
  Disable
MIME types: MIME type Description File extensions application/x-shockwave-flash Shockwave Flash .swf application/futuresplash FutureSplash Player .spl

Then close/restart Chrome and it should work just fine. If not, try reinstalling Flash Player and disable the same file and see if that works.
