Youtube comments not loading?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have been having problems with the YouTube comments lately. Every time I go onto a video, the comments section just says "Loading" and there is a spinning circle... I am using IE11. Yes, I know many people disagree with using IE11 but I find that it gets the job done, and I have no problems with using it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you.

Try clearing your internet cache. If that doesn't work, consider using another browser.

Well, while I was in the IE settings menu, I added YouTube as a trusted site and that fixed the issue. I have to thank you for getting me to look in the settings! That's sort of a no-brainer and I should've done that first.

Edit: The comments appear, but now it wont let me sign in. :wallbash:

Do you have AdBlockPlus? I had AdBlockPlus on firefox and disabling that on YT helped. Some people explained that the new, which is another word for crap, comment system uses the same software that some ads use, so AdBlock thinks it's an advertisement and it simply blocks it. Mine didn't have the infinite loading circle thing, so this might not help you, but I thought I'd mention it.

IE11 is actually really nice. If it had a decent add-on API and lots of decent add-ons like Chrome I'd probably use it as my browser. It's way faster than Chrome/Firefox in my experience.

Try clearing cookies, etc.

Yes, it sure is! Every time one of my friends sees me using it, they look at me like I have stupid written on my forehead. Anyway, How could I go about clearing cookies? I have looked in the options menu and cannot seem to find it.
