Then we can continue. Do you have the latest patch applied? Do you have administrative privileges? Is UAC disabled? Also, your saves may be corrupted. Remove them from here:

X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames
Note: The AppData-folder is usually hidden, make sure that you can see hidden files.
Note 2: “X” is the drive where you have installed GTA IV, and %username% is replaced by your username

Yes. Yes and nope it's enabled. The path you gave me just now;

X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

I didn't found it. But I found it at;

C:UsersMdDocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

What should i do with the saves? delete the files?

Edited by ARX5213

That's the wrong folder. Follow this guide (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/zxue/archive/2012/03/08/win8-howto-19-show-hidden-files-folders-and-drives.aspx) and go to the location again. And you did replace the things I told you to replace? (X with C, or wherever you installed gta iv) and %username% with your username?

Also, instead of deleting the files, just CUT & Paste them somewhere else (like in a folder on your desktop, for example).

In that case, if, somehow, the problem is not with your saved game, then you will be able to get your saved game back by simply Pasting it back to the folder.
