Our school went on a retreat a few weeks ago, and we did a dance battle. Everyone knew it was coming, and it did... this song played. So, when it hit the chorus, one guy jumped into the other's arms. It was amazing. I was tearing up with laughter. I would show you the video, but I thought I would keep it private, also, I can't find it.

 

Funny how this song was meant to be serious, but has turned into a laughing stock.

I saw it, but it was a naked guy on a wrecking ball, so I avoided it and I watched it about ten minutes ago on YouTube and it was funny, but graphic

I laughed even more when I read some of the YT comments, people actually writing "I love you" to some of the females in the video, lmao

I personally don't see whats wrong with her other than the fact she has an issue with licking things.. she's not a kid anymore & I think that's why people criticize her now because she doesn't care what people think.. I give her props considering the negative attention she gets & she still keeps going, although this was pretty funny..

The problem is that she only finished her role in "Hannah Montana" 2 years ago. Despite the series finishing, that doesn't stop re-runs. Children who were/are fans of the show then see her doing something like this and are disgusted at the way she acts, you know?

 

I agree that she has grown up and should be free to get a "new" image, but a lot of people still think of her as a child star so there's always going to be negativity towards her. Unless of course they destroy every last copy of "Hannah Montana" and erase it from our minds.

I will say that our band swung this song, and it does sound rather funny swung (and is fun to play straight as well).
