I'm not sure whether its the visualsettings.dat I have or what!

I have an 8 GB Intel Core i7 3610 QM CPU, with an NVIDIA GT 630M Card, have recently reinstalled my OS and have re-installed the game and now my graphics are all fuzzy!

 

I've got the latest driver version, and I've used contig on my files! 

What do I do to fix this? I really want to play and I'm almost going insane because I can barely see!

 

I don't see how this is urgent, but okay. Have you tried pressing the 'P' key in-game? :) P Toggles some blurryness.

I've just done that and its still fuzzy. What else can I do to fix it?

It turns out my friend is having the same issue as I am.

 

He doesn't know how to fix it either. 

 

If there is any other way to fix this, I'd really appreciate it if I could be told how.

 

I'm willing to do a re-install of the game as a last resort.

Can you upload a screenshot of it? 

I tried to take a screenshot but it doesn't really show in them, no matter how many I take, only shows internally on my screen.

 

However, I have tried to use a different visualsettings.dat...and its not as noticeable but I'd still like a solution to the problem if I could.

Is it just in GTA IV this problem shows? 

If its in all games: Right drivers?

Only GTA IV

Try to go to the video settings and seeing if Definition is on or off. If it's off, then toggle it back on and see if it fixes it.

 

If not, go to nvidia's homepage and get the drivers for your graphics card.

 

If it STILL doesn't work, unistall, delete the Grand Theft Auto IV folder from Rockstar Games and (if possible) delete the savegames, then install the game again. If that doesn't fix it, not sure what could.

Definition was on the whole time...I have reinstalled my graphics card and updated to the very latest driver.

 

Still fuzzy! I've ensured that antialiasing is set up but I just had an idea, would I be able to get rid of it possibly by installing an ENB?

 

If so, which one should I get?

Changing the resolution from Auto to 16:9 did some better...and everything in display is halfway like usual...still wondering if it'd be better to install an ENB...

Sorry for taking so long to reply, must have missed the notification. Is the fuzzy-ness gone, better? 

No, in the end, thought it had made a difference but it didn't so I've reinstalled my OS so hopefully, it's better.

Is it a Laptop or a PC?.

 

I think your graphic cards doesn't support GTA Iv so well. Imagine the game is Poorly Optimized and not even High-End PCs can run it fine, maybe the graphics is incompatible but not "fully" incompatible, I mean, it can run it, but no so well.

 

Did you try to take a screenshot from a Camera instead of maybe an internal Screen Capture ( Like FRAPS ).

It's a Laptop...GT 630 should be more than enough to run it pretty well...I reinstalled my OS again and the game, now its fixed.
