It really comes down to preference. I am not too sure about pricing, but the best "bang for buck" at your sort of budget would be the R7 260X / 265 and the R9 270 or the GTX 750 / Ti. All are excellent cards!

Aren't 1TB drives similar in prices to the 500GB ones? At least in the UK there is a very little difference between 500 and 1000GB drives.

Or you could go with the FX-8320, which is pretty much the same thing as the 8350 but the clock is lower (8350 runs at 4GHz right out of the box, where as the 8320 runs at 3.5GHz out of the box) so if you get the 8320 you'll save some money. Since the clock is lower you'll be getting less heat out of it, so the PC itself should run cooler if it had the 8320 and not the 8350.

As for the graphics card, why not go with AMD? You'll save yourself a lot of money. If someone can run GTA 4 with mods and an ENB using a 6670, surely something like an R9 270 or the 270x would do just fine.

When you create the file in Photoshop, or whatever you create it in, you save it as a .png file, then import it into the actual .wtd file itself using either OpenIV or SparkIV.

I've been out there looking for some sort of LCPDFR-styled video game, yet I found none. Most of the ones I found very really bad (especially compared to this).

Of course, developing a whole frikin' CITY would take... literally a year or so (highly depends if it's fictional or a real city).

It sucks how G17 Media has such a small development team (I think it's around 10 people. Not sure O>O)

I've been thinking (very thoroughly, from a developer's point of view) about this.

    My ideas;
Base it off the New York Police Department. I've always imagined being a cop in New York, or more precisely New York City. Huge... just stunning. Yet again, this will take at least 2 years to develop due to research and actual modelling itself.

    Mod support-
Yes, we know about the GTA IV PC modding community. But imagine this; you could easily create a police texture (or if you wish, create your very own model for either a fictional or some older/newer car). No need to download a crap ton of applications, watch thousands of tutorials and read modelling books. Just use Paint (no don't) and make a random Fashion Police texture for your Impala?

    ELS-
ELS should be an actual feature, not an optional additional script thing. Obviously, many players hate the door glitch/bug that comes with ELS, but if you get around it, everyone will love it.

    Singleplayer, Co-Op and...-
Singeplayer would be amazing. Imagine starting up the standalone and clicking on start new campaign, design your charcater and enter. No, not patrolling. Enter the academy! From the academy all the way to Commisioner? That would be very fun. With different options, open-world dynamic environments it would be plain amazing.

Co-op could similar to the current limited multiplayer for LCPDFR. Imagine patrolling around the 'city' that the standalone has, then suddenly get a call out for some robbery? This would involve communications and different strategies. It would be greatly... well... fun.

And lastly... Cops 'n' Robbers! Wouldn't it be fun? I've seen a game similar to this cops 'n' robbers concept titled 'Police Warfare'. I believe it's (sadly) cancelled. Imagine playing in a... dunno... 24-player server online and each team is 12 players. Imagine a guy piloting a chopper and then the SWAT/NOOSE players rappel down on the roof, then rappel down the wall and jump through the windows and kill the robbers before they get away. Wouldn't THAT be fun?

Just as a conclusion, this is my personal 'wishlist' for the quite possibly best police simulator for a few years. I hope the best to G17 Media and the rest of the community.

Most of these ideas might be possible. I never developed a game or a mod, but I'm looking forward to learning to model cars and textures to possibly create a Bedfordshire Police Pack (quite possibly inspired by DoupleDoppler, but creating the models and such by myself) and maybe a Chicago Police Pack (I don't seem to find any Chicago PD Packs, just a single CVPI.)

    Thank you for your time.
