Is there any release date of v1.0 yet?

When it's done and when the developers have decided to release it, it will be released.

  • In what civilized country does a police officer carry an RPG?

  • I said civilized.

  • Well, it may take a LOT of coding, but how about a real life MDT (Optional for all you people who don't like stuff like this) , like when you get a call and you get on scene, you go into your MDT and

1) I like to see more "customize" color and looks (font) on the police laptop when logging in to check an ID. I know I've seen a London version somewhere but I didn't see any others that I know of? just change the look a little bit from just the plain old blue.

2) It would be nice if you pulled over a vehicle with a felon in it and it would give you some back-up option... Maybe give you an option for an AI unit to 1) pull up behind you, or 2) in front of the suspect car, 3) draw their guns and aiming at the suspect in the car when you walk up to the vehicle,  or even have an AI officer walk up to the window with you staying behind while having some command buttons to make the order for the AI officer? That might be out of  reach LOL

3) Also be nice if your heading to a scene(domestic disturbance, DWI wreck, assault) which caused a death and you have to do some investigation... maybe even  gives you the option for a "do not cross Police Line" yellow tap if there's a homicide involved?

I hope these ideas weren't over the top

Have the dispatchers voice on all the callouts. I went through the police scanner folders and all the right speech is there. E.g. Arson, Domestic disturbance, shoot out, shots fired.....

You could also have it for when you are pursuing a suspect as the dispatcher would be saying where he is, last seen, what direction and by car or on foot. (just like he would be if you were being chased)

During pursuits I have heard the radio give directions and car type and color. It's pretty quiet, though.

It depends on your FX volume I think.

Could you make the cops use their airhorn when there is a civilian or civilian car blocking in front of them and make the civilian have specific reactions like getting out of the way. Could you also make reactions of civilian cars too when the siren is on, like getting out of the way realistic? not like crashing their cars at building and light posts? Like MulleDK19 http://www.youtube.com/user/MulleDK13/videos mod which is LCPD mod which is not yet released! He has too many features of his mod that I can't say it all and very hard coding! One of it is the conversation with the dispatch and radio stuff! I wish this will be a inspiration to LCPDFR how good he is. Just watch the videos with LCPD mod. I wish you could add them like MulleDK19's mod features.

I don't know, what could be realizable.

What about a hostage-taking? If you'll run straight to the captor, he will shot the hostage(s).

For example: he hijacked a bus and want to have 1 Mio. $ in 10 minutes (2 minutes ingame), or he will shot a hostage one by one. You can call NOOSE with snipers, or you can play NOOSE for yourself and get the final shot.

Was just an idea... oO

I kind of meant that if there is a mugging somewhere the dispatcher would say where It was. e.g.

" 'available units respond to'  'a mugging' 'in' 'Hove beach' "

" 'attention all units we have' 'shots fired' 'in' 'Port Tudor' "

etc.

I thought they weren't taking anymore ideas and that its almost done...

How can you know?! For me, they are currently still developing it and will continue to need ideas from everyone to make this realistic. However, they will do at it's best.

I second this. There has been no official word of that they are "almost done".

I'd love to have more police cars. I know that's difficult to manage but maybe it's possible - I don't know.

What do you mean by more police cars? Like when you go to the station and choose your vehicle upon exiting? Because you can always replace different ELS models with regular stock cars and then change to ELS.ini to accommodate that vehicle or you can just get EFLC and with TBOGT you will have, correct me if I'm wrong, three more police vehicles to use, which can easily be replaced, but LCPD:FR doesn't recognize those vehicles so there will be no police computer.

I want that the random events get replaced . I don't anymore to see a cop running behind a suspect , instead , i want that a message show up and says that a pickpocket just steal someone , or maybe a fight between drivers/peds .. That will be really good . If the devs don't like the idea , maybe someone could introduct it as a script ?

It would be nice for him to say which direction the suspect is actually going, instead of northbound all the time.

Yes, you're right. But I was just wondering if it's possible that LCPD:FR somehow recognizes these replaced models. So it would be like having a "normal" police3 and police4 which can be replaced by any ELS-car you download. I'm sorry if that's stupid, but I'm no expert in such things. On top of that I'm german, so my ability of expressing myself in english is limited.

In EFLC, police3 and police4 work exactly the same as police and police2, including computer. policeb also works fully, except the siren doesn't make people pull over (a GTA thing, not an LCPDFR thing). You only don't get a computer if you manually add them to IV.
