SPOILER - Full Offical Grand Theft Auto V Map

Featured Replies

I guess I was stupid to believe that long released rumor that there would be a infinite Desert to the right of he map

But a small part of me always hoped it was true :turned:

Great find, & it's nice to see the map.

I wonder if, while in a train, we can switch train tracks or such.

It could not be there & just loops that help you backtrack, but I noticed the train line going into the quarry & now I think differently :whistling:

Any thoughts?

Personally I like the way the map looks like, I never really cared about how big/small the map is going to be :P

And looking at some of the places this map has... Cant wait :D

Also, if somebody is interested in the Analysis of this map heres a video for that:

y1u9Gtd.jpg

Looks like there are eight total police stations (six within the municipal city limits, and two otherwise) and six total medical centers (four within the city, two outside). That total isn't counting the Noose Office, or the prison that's identified on the map.

I like it! Can't wait to see how long it takes to circumnavigate the entire island.

It also seems to have Sheriffs office vehicles in the trailer suggesting there are two agencies also ,so I'm not sure if you were including them in your count. Regardless that's great to hear..

with my previous post on page 1 any1 know its bugging me / I wanna see if I got the real life counter parts right

Yeah that be sick. Also not to mention a few other things that could be added..

-Underwater police dive team (find dead body's for exotic missions)

-Have tactical drug missions out in the mountains/forest areas (grow ups ect)

list could go on and on with the features this game has.

Ram: 16GB Skylake

I don't want to spoil the entire experience for me, so I won't ask about details, but how many cop cars are there gonna be in total?

Watched a leak video of the marked CVPI.  R* is using the exact same .wav file for the yelp and pierce tones as IV, that's kind of disappointing, only thing changed is the wail.  Also a few people have reported that there's very few or no cop cars around patrolling the streets now, apparently it's extremely, extremely rare to see a cop patrolling unlike previous games where you'd find them all the time.  That will have a huge impact on gameplay because before you had to look around for cops first to make sure the coast was clear, now it's kind of lame that you can do whatever and probably get away no problem.

I doubt that flyer. Maybe it'll be rare in areas like Blaine county in the mountains, but on the highway and city areas it'll most likely by super common to see one.

Nope, some guy just said he played the game all day and hasn't even seen one cop car patrolling the streets.  I really hope this is a glitch.

Ok, I'm not gonna post anymore after this, as I don't want to start a flame war or anything, but "some guy" just said he "played the game all day" seems a little suspicious. If Rockstar didn't add cops everywhere, there'd be a large majority of people who wouldn't buy the game. It would take the feel of the game away. AND from the trailers and such, it just seems there's going to be a lot of police going around. Also, remember that it is a large af map. GTA IV felt like there were lots of cops because of the tiny map size, but GTA V should be huge, so there should be either equal or more cops roaming, but probably not easy to spot as there will be lots of cars, buildings, and a huge map in the way. But when you get the game, don't try to hard when finding them, or you'll just miss every cop you see.

Even if you watch live streams you may never ever see a cop car or you may only see one within a long period of time.  R* has definitely lowered the police presence a lot compared to previous games.  Mind you in IV, it was unrealistic having every 4th car a police car so I can see why they lowered it, I'm just afraid that they lowered it too much.  So I guess we'll get to see for ourselves on Tuesday.

I had an oppertunity to check out the Fire Dept side on GTA 5. Its pretty cool and I think those who enjoy detail will appreciat it.

Over the past two days I have been watching live streams and leaked videos...and it doesnt look good. I have watched probably over 2-3 hours of gameplay all together and hardly saw a cop car once besides when the person raised his wanted level....pretty disappointing..

Ive seen several police cars driving through the city, you hear the sirens from a distance and they get closer and closer and then you see a police car speed by. Theirs also been video of police sitting under bridges or in parking lots running radar. Whether or not their actually running radar idk but it adds to a sense of realism. Plus the lighting on the police vehicals looks very well, sorta a little bro to ELS. Im quite surprised as to how much detail they went into.
