I've wanted to hold off on announcing this for a while but the clan I was working on the mod for split up so I may as well get this out so I can find a new clan to help test this.

 

Short version: a CAD (computer aided dispatch) system for GTA with both in game and out of game support.

• The mod supports a true multiplayer environment and everything is done in real-time
• Dispatch can be player in game or player out of game on web browser (even works well on mobile devices)
• I've already laid the ground work for this to work with LCPDFR once they release a version with the API

Something I should point out- this mod has been in the works for a few months now so I'm not going to flake out and suddenly stop. I did take a step backward and rewrote the entire thing in c# this weekend but I think it was for the betterment of the project.

This is running on none other than google maps. The map is courtesy of Sonik-hedgehog's Google Map Radar mod. Right now one of those units is me, the rest are AI. Still working on creating more blip icons to differentiate between the two.

 

I'll try and upload more soon. Ask if you have specific requests.

Now if he said I have a working Alpha or Beta and released it to the public then thats a different story but all he is doing it letting the community know about his project and looking for a Clan to help test it out with. Thats all. Other then that I Agree with what you are saying.

first off, i was not "hostile" as you claim. And I actually did read the post, that is why i commented on it. obviously you are new here and your not up to date of all of the fake posts people make claiming that they have the next best mod and that its done and ready for testing, and it never shows up. there are alot of people that do that just for shits and giggles. You have been a member here for 1 month, i have been here for alot longer and i have seen many false posts saying that they made something and its all a bunch of bull shit. So before you want to attempt to start an arguement, take a look around and dont make your first post attempting to start drama, cause i dont give 2 shits if he actually has made anything or not, until it is released, it doesnt exist.

I am not going to comment on the legitimacy of the opening poster's claims.  That is what the discussion and people asking questions will lead to.

 

Maybe the best course of action is not to post if you are not trying to further the discussion.  Either we will find out it is full of shat or something WIP.

 

Even if it is fake,   two wrongs dont make a right.   You pretty much insinuated,  called the poster a liar in your very first reply.

I'll agree that the negativity is wasted energy but truly, I think that SCSDDeputy has kind of earned the right to be a bit critical of the bs posts and claims. If you know who he is then you know what I mean. His contribution to the community has made this whole experience a lot more fun and functional. I find that people will get away with only as much as you let them, so I'm all for calling bs when you smell it. It may not stop the flow but at least the shitter knows he didn't get one by.

That being said, it would be a cool addition to my scripts. If it's a bs post, maybe someone else (BH) can use the idea and make it happen for real or incorporate some elements into their own already existing script.

Just my 2 cents.

So, Since eveyone is calling BS on this i will go ahead and throw my input in. I was in the clan he was in which he started the program for. It was going to be for just us and then maybe release it sometime in the future. I have seen it working and just the other day i told my clan about it and now, here it is. Just because he had tow posts doesnt mean anything. Ive seen it work, it is real.

Yes, your absolutly right, me over here, throwing a hissy fit..... Like i have said multiple times, it does not bother me if he has made a "dispatch program". If he made it, then congrats to him, but the only thing that i said was that it might be BS just like so many other people have posted bs claims about creating scripts and other stuff. If he made it then thats cool, and fine with me, but until it is released, It doesnt exist.
