as I'm studying / training to be police officer in the near future I gotta have this mod

props to whoever came up with it !!

2 questions what verison of GTA and could some1 please tell me step by step how to install it, as i'm not that great with computers

Just download it and run the auto-installer as Admin :)

add the 1.0.7.0 patch

install the LCPDFR mod (check everything except of xlive)

Don't link your LCPDFR account, i have gave you 0.91 as its more stable.

Yes, you need the latest patch

will this work with the steam client

and what folders do you install them into

It will work with Steam 100% but i have not past with Steam so you'll need someone else there... I think (think haha) its the same

Run the installer as an administrator. Make sure you download this and this. Also, make sure you have ONLY dsound.dll checked when you install the mod, not xliveless. Also, make sure that the game is also run as an administrator. If it still doesn't work, download the diagnostic tool and post a diagnostic log.

now it loadds/ starts but it's just a black screen

You should try puttin xliveless too there, so there is xliveless and dsound, it worked for me!

We highly suggest NOT using xlive, since it removes online features.

For me it also only works with xliveless. What online features does it remove (apart from xlive's online features)?

It removes everything, You can't access Games for Live, Nor can you play LAN / Multiplayer.

If it only works with xliveless, you have one of two problems:

- You use a crack (in which case I'll close)

- You need to update your GFWL client

Well, im not using crack, ill try to update that GFWL client whatever it is
