  1. Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Police Department Music Video. I've edited and added all the clips I hard recorded from GTA IV that's been on my hard drive for a while. I tossed them all togheter and I think it turned out quit nicely. Sorry for some floating textures, and random popins. PLAY IN 480P! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut9QNYNTQ0I Sorry for some lag in the video, This was made on a laptop! All settings at "High" Except, Shadows they are at "Low". View Distance: 50. Detail Distance: 100. Vehicle Density: 50. VSYNC Off. Antostropic Filtering: 16x. Computer Specifications. Intel Core i5 @ 2,25 GHz 2,25 GHz 8 GB Random Access Memory (RAM). Ati Radeon Mobility HD 5650 1 GB Video Random Access Memory (VRAM).
  2. Thanks! I'll try it out when I get home. :3 Does anyone know what patches Traffic Flow works with? Doesnt really say. I assume 1.0.7.0. tho or maybe I'm wrong? Thanks again. -Storm.
  3. I had -34 a while ago, Lol... At least I'm not fired, I just won't make Sergant....I have some scripts designed and some says Works with 1.0.4.0. The only issue is I cannot find a scripthook that's old enough :/ So if you stumble accross one tell me? Thanks! :3
  4. It can run on max, I mean not View Distance but...All settings at high and view about 50... It runs smooth 20-30 FPS, I can make a vid if you want xD Updating to 1.0.7.0 however means the game have problems even running on low-med settings. The desktop however had problems due too it's weak GPU. The laptop however has an Ati Radeon HD 5650 with 1 GB Vram, The system also have 8 Gigs Ram and a Intel Core i5 5.52 Ghz 5.52 Ghz From version 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.5.0. runs good on systems that's within it's spec, I don't have a weak laptop so it runs smooth, Just not the new patch due to shadows updating and so on. and yeah, By older I mean stuff that loads scripts for older version such as 1.0.4.0, Like...a car spawner etc...I can't find the scripthook and dsound thingy for that era. Thanks for the help! ^^
  5. Hello Guys! Long time since I've posted... ( Not sure if this is the correct place for GTA IV Help topics, Feel free to move it :P ) Anyway, I've been playing around more and more with GTA IV, and becomming more and more sad over it's performance and graphical "hiccups", I've also tried installing it on my desktop, Weaker graphics card but much stronger CPU to not much help... Getting jealous when I'm at my friends house seeing him playing on max out with no lag..lolz.. Anyway after playing around, I found out I can run GTA IV maxed out, But only with patch 1.0.4.0. Updating the game, Renders it "unplayable". I know LCPDFR most likely won't run on patch 1.0.4.0 but I know some older scrips do, But I'm having problems finding the correct "tools" to load scripts, I can only find new ones that my version of the game is too old to support... Can anyone one help? :/ Also, Is it possible to run LCPDFR on patch 1.0.4.0. I have a Norwegian friend on the other side of the country who does it, But he is to....non computer smart to explain me where he found those things. I've tried google and such. and yes I understand LCPDFR on Patch 1.0.4.0 will act like a trouble child on crack, But I wanna try if it's at ALL possible. I've seen it but...Yeah... Help? :) Thanks in advance! -Storm

  9. I notice that upon going On Police Duty, The phone some times becomes inactive...But restarting the game fixed this issue for me. o.o
  10. So before this topic is locked there are a few things I would like to say. - Icongraphy, Thank you for defending me in this matter. Apparently, What I ment by this topic was a simple yes and no question. Was LCPDFR a stolen concept. When asking this question, I did not know it would cause this kind of arguement. I was merely curious about it, But apparently I thre a spark into dry grass, as this arguments have be done before I belive. Therefor I would like to say to Jay and Sam that you have created a very amazing mod, It must have been lot of hard work. On other terms I have been the most fucking ridicioulous computer/gamer in the history.. I have been bashing the LCPDFR mod for fucking up my VRAM but all along my laptop had been in "Balanced" power mode and not high performance...Something that I should have checked...lol.. Anyway I hope my topic did not create to much problems and it will now slowly be locked and die away in the archieves. Anyways. Thank you, Sorry and goodnight. Too bad I won't make Sergant :/ - Storm. PS: I had my period. PSS: That was a joke.
  11. Okay, So the other mod is better...as LCPDFR fucks up VRAM on some computers, and crashes randomly all togheter... So...Bye :)
  12. Oh sorry...I was just curious if the concept was stolen or not. Why so rudeeeeeeeeee
  13. Well, I found a modification that does exactly the SAME as LCPDFR only without traffic stops, It even has more functions but was released WAY earlier... What's going on with this? http://www.policemod.com/forum/index.php?act=idx
  14. I'm unbanned again! :D Facebook was very sorry D: It was an wrong auto ban :3
  15. What I meaning is you can't really mod the game on a mid to range computer, You need a high spec computer to mod the game and play LCPDFR unless you wanna experience memory leaks and texture flickering etc
  16. I said on an average computer. Meaning Intel Core i5 Etc.
  17. That's wrong, Modding cars plus using LCPDFR on an average computer will cause Object pop-ins and Texture flickering, It will work but it's less enjoyable.
  18. So users with an average computer can't really enjoy this mod then? as it creates game errors.... =/
  19. What are the specs you need to run LCPDFR...I've always thought it was me having a laptop, Or the mods, Or the other stuff I had that caused. Lag. Huge FPS Drops. Missing Textures. Object Popin. But no, I traced the faults to LCPDFR, The game will work perfectly but upon installation of the LCPDFR mod, Textures will not load correctly and objects will pop in, Someplaces the FPS will also drop. I've tested on my laptop, A friend of mine's gaming rig.. He has Intel Core i7 and some...shit...One of those long Ati Cards, I've also tested on a friends of mine alienware laptop, even tho it had problems running GTA IV all togheter. So whats specs do we need to be able to run LCPDFR? =/ Thanks in advance
  20. Just want to say that LCPDFR works with patch 1.0.6.0 Perfectly. So now I can play with no popins etc
  21. Instead of being an ass you could just have told me that.
  22. Not everyone has super awesome gaming rigs.............. GTA IV Runs fine just not the new patch due to bad coding that "weaker" computers have trouble with.
  23. Gonna try with Patch 1.0.6.0....Upgrading to patch 1.0.7.0 will make my game unplayable so I will forget it if it doesnt work with patch 6. Wish me luck xD
  24. Hey Guys, I play Grand Theft Auto IV with Patch 1.0.4.0. and I can't get scripts to work, my game just crashes during startup. Can anyone explain how I can get scripts to work? Like carflow etc... I don't wanna upgrade to 1.0.7.0.... Because.. FPS drops to 15-20. Major object / texture popin.
