So my game wont start now after I saved a game when this error thing popped up. I forget what it said but i think it had something to do with a script or code or yea...

So how can i fix this or how can I revert back to an old save?

Try removing your save games by moving them somewhere else and see if it still fails to load.

hmmm, okay well that sucks good thing i beat the game.

If you use 0.91, no you can't link your account. You can download save games on sites such as:

www.gta4-mods.com

www.gtainside.com/

or

www.gtagaming.com/downloads

There are others out there. Google is your best friend.

Note that you will need Xlive.dll, which most save games will come with. This will then move save game files to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

okay got it too work, i put a save game in but it didnt work so it made a new game, but then i went to load and I had a complete savegame so, that was easy. and thanks.

Only the beta does the stats thing.

You can also do as I do and simply not download a save game, just play GTA IV normally until you get the cell phone from Roman. When you start up LCPD:FR, all the islands are unlocked so you can go drive wherever you want so you don't have to go through the entire game again. I already beat it once on XBOX 360, I really don't feel like sinking time into it again.

As far as I know you have to do it on install or you can't after. Maybe there's some sort of config file edit I don't know about. But it would be faster to just re-install it.
