How i can change the siren for gta 4?

replace HORNS.ivaud inside resident.rpf

Download SparkIV. Open it, hit browse, and then go under ...\pc\audio\Sfx\resident.rpf and replace HORNS.ivaud with a downloaded HORNS.ivaud containing the siren you want.

EDIT: Sometimes guys, just saying " inside resident.rpf" isn't enough.

Sorry, I should really have explained the kind of witchcraft that is used to find the resident.rpf file.

EDIT: usually this kind of stuff is explained in a file called README. Which you should always -> -> READ <- <-

Mind you, most siren mods only include a HORNS.ivaud, NOT a new resident.rpf. So you STILL need to use SparkIV. Hence why I mentioned it. No need to get a little snappy (just how it seemed).

EDIT: Yes, I get tired of stupid questions as well but that still is not a reason to give someone a half baked answer just to get it over with (like "replace horns.ivaud").

I can understand if people have serious problems with their games. But normally BEFORE posting a thread the first things you should do is READ the god damned README and consult google. Most of the problems that get posted are solved by then.

Y not pull your finger out. I installed Premier Hazard sirens and all i did was read the readme. Hence the name, it helps out a lot, if you cannot find anything or are stuck, and google doesn't help, then come here. SIMPLE

question, i have spark IV and i look at the residant file to go and replace the siren. it is empty and will not let me install the siren. and advice?
