This is my last attempt at trying to show people the right way. If I keep seeing people ramming their suspect and calling it the PIT or even just full speed ramming, I think I give up.

Very nice tutorial. When playing LCPD:FR I'm always trying to avoid ramming the suspect as far as I can. Unfortunately in some situations it isn't possible - or then it's not meaningful any more, ie. when the chase has gone too long, and AI backup units don't seem to be able to handle the situation. So most of the time I end up trying to block suspects way, because this kind of "by the book" PIT maneuver isn't the easiest one when speeds are high and suspect is making lots of turns.

About the tutorial, really good man!

I will keep on ramming at full speed though lol... If i PIT the suspect the AI will just ram him into place again probably lol.

that is quite possibly the best PIT I've ever seen that officer should get a medal for that

It's too bad that in GTA IV P.I.T. maneuver is useless as the AI just take off again, or the backup units just smash the hell outta him to get him moving again.

Depends on how you pit the person and what kind of vehicle their in, in .91. But .95 does indeed make it hard if you have AI police right behind you, as you saw in my .95 Beta 1 Walkthrough video.

Really? I found it MORE easy in .95 than .91... :confused:

I can PIT in pursuits no problem, but unless I get lucky, either a backup unit runs me down or runs into them correcting their car and they take off.

If only you could actually do everything that you'd do after a successful PIT maneuvre.

I don't know how LCPD:FR functions when in multiplayer, but playing this with _actual_ human players... *dream*
