It happens to me that in EFLC, when I call for the NOOSE gunship, the game crashes.... Not all the time, but often enough to annoy me... Does anyone else face this too?

That happens to me sometimes, so i just dont call them

Always happens to me every time. I just call 3 NOOSE Teams Instead.

so if i press the button like 3 times will it not crash?

I think what CloseEncounter means is calling the normal NOoSE ground teams (ALT-N) instead of the helicopter.

 

I've also had crashes when calling for the chopper support, but I've had times when there was no problem.

For me, everytime i call in heavy shitloads of backup, it crashes.

 

So i avoid doing that.
