Idea for ad space.

Featured Replies

I understand the site needs ads to fund itself and stay up but I think a lot of people would agree that the ads are quite floody and look suspicious. Now I do not know how much it costs to run the site so this idea might be bad.
I suggest that the site could designate ad slots for people who create paid mods surrounding LSPDFR in some way. This could be from vehicle & model developers to other scripts with paid access. I know that paid mods aren't the greatest of choices for people but if some ad slots could be in relation to LSPDFR/GTA5 modding, I think it would benefit both sides. This could run in parallel with ads that are currently on the site in order to keep up with costs.
Main point is: Users wouldn't want to see high volumes of obtrusive ads and in turn could see something related to LSPDFR. Could be expanded to if a user is in a certain section of downloads, like vehicles, then ads for vehicle devs could show. Something that makes sense.

We probably would not promote paid mods or have any sort of partnership program.

Not only does it go against our principals, it opens us up to legal trouble as most paid mods are making money off of the intellectual property of other parties (primary concern being Rockstar themselves, but even companies like Ford or Axon could be more likely to pursue legal action once money is involved).
