I am having no trouble with LSPDFR but I wanted to install improvements, new vehicles and more and it's a pain. Any way of making it was easier? Or any modpacks I just drop in the directory? Or any help downloading (youtube videos help but it's still a mess).

It’s not really that hard to install cars and plugins to your game. Most, if not all files come with install instructions which you simply need to follow.

Are you struggling with a mod in particular?

The main issue is many have the same name so I can't have a lot of cars at the same time but have to circle through them due to them sharing the name and renaming them not working.

Have you given LML a go? The purpose of it was to streamline these things
