OFFICIAL BOX ART

Featured Replies

This was unofficially revealed last week when they painted it on the side of a building in Brooklyn.

I think I prefer San Andrea's cover art, although this one is very colorful

GTA has never been about looks. Come on guys, you know that already. Hopefully rockstar doesnt pull an EA on us a la simcity5 and kill the franchise. Without mods, gta is sorta meh.. every version. no exception.

I don't know about you guys but I'm not buying the game to be staring at the box art, I'm buying the game to play it. Honestly the box is going to be tossed aside once I take the disc out and put in in my Xbox. I really don't care what the art looks like. In my opinion it looks like every other GTA box art. I like it though and see nothing wrong with it. What I would really like to see is more trailers. :)

Lol, just noticed by comparing these 2 game covers... they pretty much got the same looks like....

Top Left GTA IV: Heli

Top Left GTA V: Heli

Top Right GTA IV: Guy on a bike

Top Right GTA V: Guy on a bike asewll..

and so on, geez I'm bored!

Most game franchises uses similar covers for their games.

Covers and coverart is loosing relevance with digital downloads taking more and more of the market away from buying physical copies.

I personally quite like that Rockstar keeps the covers in the same style, it's the iconic GTA cover after all.

It isn't the coolest box art of the GTA series imo, but it ain't look bad.

Btw, check out the cop car, it freaking looks like a Crown Vic!

It does indeed; very sexy! :-)

On another note, GTA IV's covert art had a 2002-2007 CVPI on the cover, but the one in game was a 1992-1997 CVPI.

I don't take much notice with the cover... It's the game that's more important xD But looking at the cover it looks sweet! It looks a bit like California and Miami mixed together:)
