I didn't find any search results for this, so I thought I'd mention this annoying little error. When ever I attempt to frisk a prostitute standing on the sidewalk they simply keep their original posture, and my character stutters over and over. He begins to bend down a couple inches, then resets, then bends down then resets, on and on and on non-stop. I actually have to quit the game in order to make this stop. Have there been any solutions to this issue or is there a fix in .95 for this? I posted this because it's the last thing that made me crash. It's happened before, I just thought now would be a good time since it just happened a couple of minutes ago. lol

Yea that has heppened b4 to me....the only way to stop this from happenning is not to frisk them or wait for a car to run you over and kill you...that stopped the problem lol

This also happens with Preachers.

Yes! You're correct it does happen with preachers, I forgot about that. Anybody with a set job. I'd love to shut the preacher up by doing something other than whacking him with my collapsible baton. I wanted him to move along, same with the prostitutes. Oh well. Maybe a future script edit can fix it. These NPC's have a "job" they need to perform, so maybe hitting 'Y' will stop their job so to speak.

I've tried so many times to stop the scripted peds from doing their stuff but I just cant quite get it. I'll see if it can be achieved with some advancedhook magic.

Also, if an animation is stuck with you, hit CTRL+DEL and it will reset it.

Thank you both, that will help a lot. Sam your programming work is appreciated, and I didn't think to try that command Francis. I'll use that if it happens again (I'll just try and remember not to frisk prostitutes lol).

I had this issue a couple times and i just turn first response off and back on and that seemed to work for me

It happens to me as well. Only for peds that have a static script of motion such as preachers and prostitutes. I found that hittin Alt R again is a better fix to the bug than reloading the scripts.
