Southland Last Night...

They also do not have the steady-burns that are required by California law.

The production company only have a very small amount of cars, you'll notice a lot of repeat plates on the cars used (Coopers 999999e1 is also driven by Ben and Sammy)

I dug up some photos from a flickr contact taken in LA:

Here's also a video of Michael and Lucy during filming for an episode last year:

EDIT:

Oh, and another inaccuracy about the cars, they have the newer caps on older crown vics, the newer vics doesn't have the chrome finish running along the bottom of the bootlid.

  • I'd say episode two. It had some epic action packed into its runtime;   Conflict between Sammy and Sherman The little kid was shot Lydia's mum suddenly died Closely behind it though was the one w

Yep, watched it.   It was amazing, the new one 'Chaos' was the best i have EVER seen, but seeing the cop get shot was a surprise.

This week's episode was kind of a let down. I feel the case Lydia got was kind of ambiguous until the end. Also, we never find out what happens during that scene where John carries the kid away from the scene. I know Southland like to leave us hanging but that just felt like more of a mistake than it was meant to happen. Also the camera thing with Sammy kind of feels similar to the safety tip thing from last season. What do you all think?

I can't gather words..

That episode left me speechless, I honestly thought John wasn't going to make it. Even more so, I would've liked to have seen Dewey and Ben roll up and beat the shit out of those two crackhead assholes.

Guess its time to change my picture :(

I thought it was a complete let down, it felt way forced. I like where they have been going with Coopers character this season, the older cop that feels he's wasted his life because he has nothing but the job anymore, and now this, really come on. I feel this has pretty much blown away his story arc this season, and the preview for next week doesn't look promising at all. Then tweedle dee and tweedle dumber are acting more like the cops on The Shield would act. This season started out pretty good, but its slipping esspecially the last couple episodes. I'll watch the season finale, but I think this maybe the last season this show sees the DVR for me

This is a signature, not a good one, but one that's needed

Sorry to bump this.

But I thought the season finale was pretty good. I actually thought the beginning to middle was a little slow, but it quickly escalated near the end.

So,

if John does survive, he would likely get in big trouble, or possibly lose his job. If he dies, then the show wouldn't be the same. I honestly hope he stays on the show. The way they left it, it makes it look as if there's definitely going to be another season.
