GTA POLICING TOOLS Question

Featured Replies

I just downloaded the policing tools mod and the boot and spikes dont work.  I pressed alt space but nothing game up.  The radar is pretty cool but it makes a beep noise everything you look at a car and doesn't stop until you look away :)  Does anyone have the problem of the mods not working

For the Boot- Try doing what it says in the GTAPolicingTools settings.

BOOT]

ModifyKey = Alt
ToggleKey = Space

PlaceKey = Q

The mod is in alpha and it is now to have bugs.

press alt space and q at the same time or alt space.  Do you have to be in a car because below that it says police and police2

You need to be standing by the trunk/boot of your car.  Then press ALT-Space, a menue will then pop up..  Press Alt-Q to place your items, and then return to your trunk/boot to return items.

I am having issues with the radar gun.  I cant get it to work for the life of me.  I have tried reloading scripts, changing things.  I get the Red window that tells me that the speed is 00.00MPH and 0000 feet.  no beeps or noises. And now I lost the radar gun image completly.  ARGH.. lol  I am reinstalling GTA and trying it all again.  Im frustrated.  But i will keep working on it.  If anyone has suggestions to my radar gun issue, it would be really helpfull.

Im in the hospital with my wife and baby. Can someone make a video using the new tools please so that I can see it. Sorry for hijacking the thread lol.

The Police and Police 2 are for the spike strip. I haven't tried the BOOT yet so I don't know about that. Remember, this is an Alpha, which means it has bugs and glitches.

Guys remember, this is an alpha release. There are supposed to be bugs so it can be fixed.

oh, i understand...  :-)  Just getting any info from other folks may help.  Thats all.

Wow, pretty cool vid.  I'm gonna wait until the bugs are worked out though.

The opening scene, other than the officer's hat, looked photo real for a minute.  Very impressive!

Good day

You and I must have a different of "photo real". It still looked like a game to me.

Maybe.  When I started the vid it looked to me like the cop was superimposed on a actual street scene...for the first 8-10 seconds or so.  Other than that, you're right, but still think it looks great.

Good day,
