Harper's Youtube Channel - LCPDFR RC3 & More

Recommended Posts

I'm not usually one to do this, but I feel that I have to.

I've had my channel since May 2008 and I've only recently started uploading to it and giving it attention. I'm sitting at a pathetic 157 Subscribers at the moment who only seem to be active when I upload a LCPDFR video.

I enjoy making videos, but its becoming incredibly boring when a non-LCPDFR video goes up and only has 35 views (minimum) within three weeks whilst an RC3 video hits 500 views within a week, mainly because I link them here.

That's why I'm promoting my channel here, I'm not sure where else to turn but I'm sure the community will help me out here, its not easy to make yourself known on the internet but I'd at least like to try, hell, If I could get to 200 Subscribers it'd be a massive achievement for myself. I'm hoping I'll be able to hit 1,000 soon but I'm not holding out for it.

I post regular videos of;

  • RC3
  • ArmA II CO-OP
  • NR2003 (With NB)
  • Need For Speed Most Wanted
  • Minecraft

Additionally, when I get my hands on these games, I'll be uploading footage of them with full commentary;

  • Watch Dogs
  • GTA V
  • ArmA 3 (I have the Alpha, but it lacks too many features to warrant a video at the moment)
  • Any future LCPDFR versions (if any)
  • Battlefield 4 (Unofficially Confirmed)

I'm really hoping this reaches some people at least, I've come close to ending my account many times and this is the last lifeline.

Additionally, I also update regularly on my Twitter: @Harpersaurus

and I've started an online blog: http://harpersrambling.blogspot.co.uk/

I do take requests for videos on both Twitter and Youtube

Feel free to have a look around my channel, if you don't feel like subscribing its fine, I'm not forcing it on anybody however sharing it via social networks and such is appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Harper.

Side Note: Hardly anyone came forward and claimed the codes for the Dodge Charger for NFS Most Wanted, I still have three available and they will go to the first three people that ask for them

you know there's another option also to make a payment to youtube to have your channel be featured / promoted for like a month I think

I haven't the time or financial gain to start paying Youtube / random companies for views. Hence why I'm having to look at each available option and see if it'll pay off.

Getting popular on youtube isn't easy, most of those people you see with millions of few's payed big bucks for that. (around $100-$200) I use to have a simi popular youtube channel, tell I closed it down and then decided to make a new one the same day -.-... You need to make videos that people will be like that is so !@#$ing cool. Like on my old channel the video that got me simi popular was showing off a nuclear bomb in arma 2.

Just look around and see what games videos are getting big fews and why.... It just takes time, sooner or later you will get that one video that will get thousands of fews and that will be your start.

Like these guys

it took them a few years to get popular

Now they get about a millions fews and every new video they make

You sir, got a new sub!

It took me a while to get to where I am at, and I have 217 subs lol.

Side note: What happened to your races with Nicolai? I was reading up on your nascar thread and realized the thread was locked and it said finished...Did you guys really race all those races that quickly?

If you want to be popular on youtube need to make an awesome video that everyone likes, for example how every likes my prison mod game video and got millions and made 2000 subs for it, just to something to grab millions attention.

A large subscriber base is only half the battle though. I would much rather have fewer subscribers, but have them be good subs. for example, there are people with thousands of subs, and yet it seems like they only have a few hundred because they have low video views. And people who may only have a few hundred subs but get a lot of interaction from their subs.

I think every youtubers goal is the sub count, but also to have a great group of people to interact with!!

it all depends sometimes there's a large group who will like LCPDFR content and then there's a few subs who likes something else for example hd walkthrough I for one already know am not getting enough views on my hd walkthrough because my subs are large based on GTA IV and LCPDFR, but still uploading different videos to attract different types of viewers to sub to me and the interaction is always good if you have the time, which i don't

Thanks for the kind words guys and an even bigger thanks to the people who subscribed since I posted this thread, We jumped to 166 from 155 and although its not much, I feel its only the beginning.

I'll use this thread to update when I post new videos.

Some old players of FCRP apparently made a clone of the server, naturally I had to check it out
