What should I do?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I am currently stuck with my youtube account and I need your input. I have 800 subscribers, and 3,000,000+ video views with 63 uploads. The thing is, I am getting the feeling that my subscribers aren't "active". I only get 100-200 views on video's I upload. Unlike Bayareabuggs who uploads, and then gets around 300 hits on his video in less than 3 hours (yes I know he has 11,000 subscribers).

What should I do? Make a new account? Or stick with my current account?

Maybe make your content more engaging and check to see if your subscribers are legit or just spammers? One thing I look at is how many subscribers my subscribers have and how many videos they have. Hope that helps. Also, are you monetizing your videos?

Yeah most of them don't even have any video's. I say the only person who has subscribers that's subbed to me is Jeff from Code Zero Gaming. And yes I am.

Do you have regularly scheduled uploads? That certainly helps because then people know when to expect videos from you.

I try to upload every weekend, really can't during the week due to school.

Ah the reason the code zer0 crew always gets so many views on their videos is because of te regular uploading they have. And they upload almost every day. Literally everyday you see one video up. I do suggest you do videos on the week end and then try to upload some of them on the week days

Hey Robert =)

800 Subs and 3Million views is nothing to be ashamed of.

A few things to consider:

1) In order to engage your audience, you need to commentate!

2) Your videos are dark, bring the brightness up.

3) Run an ENB if possible

4) Set an Upload Schedule for yourself, share it with your subs that way they know when to expect your next video (even if it is just only Weds)

5) If you have an intro (intros should be no more than 5-8 seconds long)

6) Use annotations to keep your subs engaged and on your channel.

Its incredibly difficult, I've been working my ass off to keep a regular uploading schedule but my subscriber count has stopped climbing these past few weeks.

As said up, engage your audience. Go for games that aren't well covered, ones that you enjoyed in your childhood. I for example went for Driv3r which although had awful reviews, I loved.

I wouldn't worry about the view count too much. Any non-LCPDFR video I upload only reaches about 30 views.

Ok from looking at your videos you have 2 videos that got you your views.

EMS Responding to Officer Down

PC Morning Shift With the LAPD

Now those videos gave people what they wanted they weren't born and they showed what people wanted to see. Try to make more videos like those....
