the lapd are much worse then dorner was nuff said i too dont condone his actions but burning a man alive regardless of what hes done is NOT how our justice system works ....innocent until proven guilty in the court of law but i did not see a court of law all i saw were a bunch of militarized thugs taking things into there own hands...this event is going to lead into somthing much bigger...drones over americans skies in the near future detainment without trial etc etc

  • No. "Letting tension out" is something you do at a gym, or playing sports, or games, or something like that. It's not something you do by beating someone on the side of the road.

  • Shhh! Damn, you know too much now. Bravo team move in, he knows our operation, flash bang and clear and take cp702 into custody.  Go go go! :D (Kidding of course)

  • When did the Chief make those remarks? I assume after he was deemed an enemy of the state? Yet if he was so bad as they claim, why wasn't he fired before? Why wasn't he fired prior to making those cla

The question for me is how he passed his psych exam.

Affirmative action, that's how.

Good day,

DrDetroit

nobody is innocent in this world, i just thought i'd inform you

What's that supposed to mean?  He a frickin murdered who ruined many innocent lives, not some guy who stole a pack of gum.  What's that got to do with 'nobody is innocent in this world.'?  Justify it anyway you want, just don't put me or any of these fine people on this forum in the same catagory as this looser.  Is that some lame attempt at trying to excuse or marginalize what he's done?

Good day,

DrDetroit

Come on guy!  You gotta be kidding me...not a bad guy??  He is a MURDERER period!  Being a murderer is a bad guy by definition.  So what if he was fun, nice, blah blah blah.  He took innocent lives (I don't give a shit why or what his point was...that is now a mute point because of his actions) and I hate to break it to you, he is a bad guy.  If you don't understand this, you need  to check your premise big time.

Good day,

DrDetroit

He murdered police officers that weren't "innocent" on his count. The only "innocent" killings were the daughter and Fiancé. Throughout his spree, he did not harm any of his victims he robbed. If you look at it, he was actually extremely nice to the people he robbed. He said he "I don't want to hurt you" to his victims and even let one of the victims get his dog out. He could have killed all his victims and would have been able to get away. He could still be alive if he did so, but he chose not to harm random innocent civilians.

Were the heck is that rep down button when you need it? lol

But he murdered cops that had nothing to do with anything, even though he got fired for calling someone out. He also got fired because of poor policemen ship skill. He was a horrible person that needed help but he was so fucking ignorant to get it. He can burn in hell for all I care because he murdered people that had nothing to do with his firing. He is claiming the cops fucked up his life, no he fucked up his own life. If someone makes fun of me you don't see me going around shooting random ass people. Anyone that feels sorry for his ass, are just part of the scum of the earth....

Oh...he only murdered two people...well that's ok then.  I stand corrected.  He's a good guy after all.  The cops he killed deserved it too, so did their families who lost a loved one.  You're right, he is justified in his actions and is a good guy.  I guess you have to murder 3 or 4 people to be a bad guy or is it as long as you only murder cops and your ok too.

Sheesh...something is very wrong with society when people justify a murdering lunatic, stand up for him and actually support his deeds.  Strange times...strange times indeed.  I actually have to make an argument that this is a bad guy!  WTF!!

Yeah yeah, you're right. Apparently everything you say is right and people can't say their own opinions. I never said what he did was right, I said consider things from his perspective. But I guess you're too stupid, ignorant, and self-minded to know that. I think this thread can be closed.

Yet again, we've proven we cannot have a logical debate on a topic involving weapons and/or a major news story.

People need to grow up and learn to accept other people's opinions, attacking other people because of their opinions is downright moronic and childish.

Dorner was fired from what was seen as misconduct, he was reported to be on his "final warning" for a few weeks as he had numerous complaints against him, of course, because of the manifesto he posted, the media are using it try and beef up his side and the LAPD's.

We won't know the full story, ever. Yes, he may be telling the truth or he may even be making up false accusations to try and justify his actions. However, the LAPD has been known to have its fair share of corruption and is commonly referred to as the biggest gang in LA with 10,000 plus members.

I ask that from this point on, everybody respects eachothers viewpoints and, if a disagreement arises, its talked through like grown ups, not screamed at like school children.

I'll also remind that anybody that attempts to further instigate this "flame war" will be handed a nifty warning point.

It has not been proven that he had bad "police man skills". Have you tried working in a position where your boss hates your guts because you decided to stand up to something? Your reputation and evaulations suffer because you decided you weren't going to keep the status quo. Reputation is a big thing in Law Enforcement and the Military.

He didn't do this because people were making fun of him. He did this to uncover something, yet again I am not condoning his actions but if you were to objectively analyze his manifesto and the situation at hand, you'd realize that he actually has a point.

You have your opinion, I have mine. I don't know what your background is and I'm not going to assume, but wait until you hit the streets with some cop who just wants to beat the sh** out of people and just because of his/her "reputation" as a fighter your claims are instantly dropped and your reputation is tarnished because you decided to do the right thing. The Police Force/Military can be a VERY cruel "brotherhood" especially if you decide to stand up to speak out against police misconduct.

As for your comment regarding affirmative action. How do cops who beat the sh** out of their wives, girl friends or who decide that it's a good idea to take money get on the job?

This is a general comment to anyone whose in Law Enforcement/Military or those who are pursuing such a career. I hope to god that you guys don't get sucked in to a situation where someone is enforcing this "Code of Silence" and "Thin Blue Line".

That is what was said by the chief he was also fired for poor police men skills. Just because your boss hates you that means you can go around shooting and killing people?

When did the Chief make those remarks? I assume after he was deemed an enemy of the state? Yet if he was so bad as they claim, why wasn't he fired before? Why wasn't he fired prior to making those claims?

Look at Adrian Schoolcraft where the release of his tapes sent him to a mental evaulation for six days. Cpl. Catherine Galliford of the RCMP was discredited by the RCMP and members of her Division, yet she did 16 years as a Mountie and was the face of BC RCMP.

Like I said, Read his Manifesto with an open mind. He was attempting to uncover Police Misconduct and how the brass often sweeps it under the rug because they themselves grew up in the "good old days" where cops never snitched on cops for beating the sh** out of some innocent person.

No one is supporting the actions that he under took to clear his name. This is what ticks me off that everyone who supports or remotely supports Dorner's manigesto is automatically labelled as some sick scum bag who should rot in hell. NO ONE SUPPORTS THE MURDER OF INNOCENT PEOPLE PERIOD.  What they are supporting is the fact that he was attempting to uncover something here. As I mentioned earlier in a previous post all you have to look at and research is the history of police misconduct and how it's investigated then look at the outcomes of such cases. Rampart ring any bells? Danziger Bridge Shooting?

Look, label me what you want. I support law enforcement just as much as the next person but when cops decide to turn on the oath they swore to uphold (I'm not talking about trying to get a pedophile, rapist or serial murder off the street) I'm talking about cops who often abuse their powers, who beat innocent people for no reason at all and cops who are fanatics when it comes to the "Thin Blue Line".

^ exactly if it was some joe schmoe who murdered few people there would be a thing called gathering evidence then you go search for the suspect but instead the lapd go all assault busting into people houses without warrants and firing upon innocent civilians....illegal checkpoints and even a drone? what the hell happened to peoples morals nowadays? it sickens me like i said before this is going to lead into even bigger events

Comm: He was apparently told he was in danger of being fired immediately before he made his claims. That's what's fishy about it to me: Your boss says that you need to shape up, and then you immediately report misconduct on their part.

I did not know that, then yes if that was the case the circumstances and timing of his allegations are questionable.

If that was the case then Charlie Beck and the LAPD would not have had to re-open the case (I mean the guy is dead, and the majority of media outlets have in some degree left the story as is). There is more to this story than what the media and LAPD are reporting.

However, if the claims are proven false; that doesn't mean the LAPD is off the hook. They and every other organization still has to deal with the "Blue Code of Silence" and "Thin Blue Line".

They might still re-open the investigation, because otherwise people would be demanding that they do it. (by the way, I got that info from the original investigation report)
