LSPDFR and future

It's likely LSPDFR will enter maintenance mode and receive less updates, just like LCPDFR. Although it really depends on how "alive" the GTA V modding scene remains after GTA VI is released.

It's our intention that there will be a new version of the First Response series for GTA6. As for plans, considering there's not even a release date for GTA6 PC, it's hard for there to be anything solid on our side at the moment.

Very good to read. I had been thinking about whether or not the First Response mod had run its course through its patronage of GTA V. It's comforting to know that there are plans to progress as the franchise does.

Thanks for the reply and im glad that it wouldnt just die, because i think lots of us wont be buying gta6 and will still need to have lspdfr up and running.

It looks like there is still a good strong fan base for playing the LEO side of any GTA.  I personally really like GTA5 because it takes place in the region where i am, so a lot of stuff looks and acts familiar.  In relation to U.S., GTASA was West Coast (California and Las Vegas, Nevada).  GTA4 was East Coast.  I couldn't get it to play so I don't know what areas of Eastside.  GTA5, West Coast, mainly all of California.  Now, GTA6, back to East Coast from what the trailer looks like.  I'll probably stay with 5 as long as I can but will move into LCPD FR or whatever the PD is when it comes out.  Absolutely makes sense what Cyan said.  It will depend on how popular 6 will be for their Mod.  I would hope most of us will still be around here when 6 comes out.  I assume it will take the Staff time to explore the file system of how GTA has their stuff set up.  That's over my head though.
