This post is nothing more than a wish tossed out there. I know the Modding Tools for Cyberpunk aren't the most open.... But damn I wish we could get NCPDFR. With the 2.0 update, there are new Police Vehicles including a Police Motorcycle and a Swat Vehicle. There are also a bunch of new Police Uniforms for several different types of jobs. Forensic Units, Swat Units, Patrol Units etc.

Again, just a wish tossed out into the universe haha.

I believe a while back the Devs said they were most likely not going to expand into the Cyberpunk universe. Could be wrong though, who knows.

I think we discussed it and we looked at the original state of the game and it kinda got a 'no' vote. I've been playing the new DLC and it's definitely much improved.

I think we have our hands full right now with LSPDFR/LCPDFR.com, but it would be a nice thing to review when we have time.

Kinda curious which one will come first...VCPDFR or the CyberPunk one. My guess would be the one that is GTA related since this mod revolves primarily around Rockstar Games products.

I think you guys should really consider this, this game is magnificent and has a TON of potential, few games get this much love and become a game that is going to be relevant for years, not to mention this game also has other features other games don't like great Police lore, world building, Police features and more and MODDABLE 

I really don't think you guys should this opportunity pass by, at least discuss it with the team and vote on it, please.

I've not looked into the feasibility of it, so I couldn't tell you if it's "too hard" or "not possible" - it's not something we have really investigated, there is not a huge amount of interest on our side (at least from me) at the moment.

I understand,i just tought it is hard cuz VRDog said modding tool weren't the most open,I personnally (ik it doesn't mean anything and everything,just saying) it would be really cool , and UnknownBastion said he curious if VCPDFR or NCPDFR would come first (again i know i don't know nothing and it doesn't mean anything,just  my personal opinion) IO would be more interested in NCPDFR i mean that is a whole new and different thing ,VCPDFR would be in the same universe as LSPDFR and I wouldn't be too excited bout it,i mean of course i would like that too bu I think LSPDFR is great and i would be more interested in NCPDFR since it is a whole new level.

I mean, GTA V has no official modding tools, nor did GTA IV - but LSPDFR and LCPDFR were created. Infact, LSPDFR entered development before any scripthooks were developed or available to the public. The fact it has any modding tools should make the creation of mods easier than GTA V or GTA IV.

I'll be honest, I would expect VCPDFR first before NCPDFR - we are after all GTA developers.

Plus a transition to another game/engine would require starting from scratch which takes a lot of free time (which no one has these days) whereas the framework for another Rockstar game is already there.

I didn't know you were GTA devs i mean cyberpunk IS written in another programming language soo...,and under this in the similar threads there in another discussion "We need lspdfr for cyberpunk2077" where another dev says that CDProjectred says the modding will advance in the future so,i mean I don't know anything but it seems like you two aren't saying the same thing,nevermind i am not trying to argue you guys all i am sayin is an NCPDFR would be cool,and if you can do it then you should do it(again one last time i know i don't know nothing bout modding,programming or anything,i am just telling my opinion)

That other topic is very old and people's lives have changed since then. They aren't GTA devs as in they developed GTA, they are GTA devs in the sense that they create mods for GTA. 

Yeah i tought he meant it like that,i meant i didn't know they were specifically gta modders.

 

I complained a lot before the 2.0 update came out because of the lack of law enforcement mechanics. Before that police were a total joke, at most when you were wanted, they would chase you maybe 100 yards then break off. The police never used the cars, yet they could be taken by the player and driven, and without a mod the sirens would not work. To the AI, the police cars were just props. Now that police are much better and make sense, I do agree that the game should have a cop sim mod.

I was just so disgusted with V's ending though, either choice you had to make. I have always suspected that the government made up her inability to use tech/chrome any longer due to some allergy. I think they engineered her not being able to use it when they removed Johnny from her head because she was dangerous in their eyes. I also did not like the real world politics/symbolism injected into it at every turn. Obviously by some game developers with an agenda. I would gladly pay extra to keep this biased stuff out of gaming. I had to use another mod to remove some things like that. ( flags for instance)

 

In the end though, it was still a far better game and far more enjoyable than the total failure called Starfield.
