Modern Siren Pack
This has always been my go to siren pack for several reasons. It adds LAPD, CHP, and all other esstential sirens for LA based departments. And its a simple OIV install. My question is after all these years. Are all these sirens still current with LAPD, LA Sheriff and CHP? If not I hope this eventually gets updated or someone makes a new updated pack with all the departments included.

I found an issue with one cactus missing a root base across the street from the sheriff station. Its just hanging in the air. Seems to be the only one with this bug.

Is there a height defect in the road base on La Puerta freeway?
This thread was not created to argue about systems, thats a debate for some other topic. The memory is DDR5 and 3200 ripjaws. Reagardess the game does not choke on the highest settings and I also play DCS on extreme settings and never had any lag or issues. Memory resources in GTA read that I'm using about half my memory using ultra settings so one area of a map causing a height issue would not be because the system is having trouble in my opinion, its just that hump on La Puerta. The most common case that GTA is suffering from performance issues is usually ground disappearing and I have not had that kind of a problem for like a decade, back when a lot of modded police cars were un-optimized and would max out resources and crash the game. I only use upgraded lore vehicles these days with DLS. I think what happened here was some piece of a file left over from Visual IV enhanced or "Realism Enhanced Traffic and Driver A.I" that was conflicting after deleting the whole "mod" folder and thinking the game was clean. The later mod is very old. The problem is gone now but would warn that anyone who uses some kind of mod that messing with handling or the map props might cause this later on. Seems that the file probably installed itself in the main files even though they were directed to the mod folder at the time.

I have a high end system. If it was my computer other parts of the game would be freaking out. Its only on that small strip on the freeway. I will have to dig in the files some more and see how I can rectify it. Maybe I have some remnant of a road modification somewhere. I never alter the main files. Maybe one got modded through some oiv by mistake that did not go to the mod folder. I will check again.

Its odd because this area is the only part of the map doing it on the freeway, even did a fresh install. cannot figure out what it is, I have no crashes or errors in the RPH log.

Seems they are using these in a light grey as well. Really neat. My dad was a California state police officer for many years. CHP took over their functions.

Apparently the neversober 1.1 DLS megapack works instead and covers everything in EUPFR UE. I got it and recommend everyone go with that.

Is there a height defect in the road base on La Puerta freeway?
I have encountered this issue on a spot on the freeway. I tried testing this on a modded game and stock and it seems to suffer the same issue so because this is also happening with stock files I put this here. Vehicles gliding over patches of road and then coming back to level ground. There must be some invisible height issue. This only happens in this spot on the map and maybe for 50 yards at most. Any idea if this is a stock issue? Trying to figure out what would correct this small annoyance. Its not the handling.meta's. Other places where there are humps the vehicles do not do this. Its weird. Its not a pc issue and I am using heap adjuster, a lspdfr required gameconfig, and limit adjusters so its not an issue of the game running out of resources. Running an I7 with 32GB of ram and a 4060 Nvidia card. on windows 11. Everything up to date on 3 SSD's.

Share your thoughts on best "sweet spot" for realistic traffic and AI
So over the years I have experimented off and on with mods to make traffic and AI driver discipline better. Sadly I still am not satisfied. The main mods I use atm would be "ClearTheWay" and "Ai Traffic Fluidity & Discipline" but even then I still have problems. The most annoying would probably be when I do a traffic or accident stop and turn on my traffic advisory lights. too often I will have AI drivers either pile up behind me even though I am not blocking a road, sometimes they will rear end my cop car and push it out of the way, other times they will just run over my taffic cones and barriers or over injured peds being treated. Its annoying as hell. I tried a few older mods like "AI traffic" and that mod made it worse and also made vehicles on freeways float above the road like a foot. I had some luck with "riches police enhancements" and its one feature of making traffic go around your car in stage 3 but sometimes cars will also drive onto the sidewalk to get around instead of staying to the left on the road. I would just like the game to a point where drivers obeyed traffic cones, barriers, and did not plow into emergency vehicles or run through an accident zone. It would be really nice if AI knew how to follow a path when you set out cones or turn on your lights. sometimes they do obey the barriers but they also run them over in the process a lot while following the road. Its one of the main things for me that wrecks immersion. Thats said with my current fixes it is better than the stock game where every little thing sends peds into chaos and causing a traffic pile up. Stop the peds "calm" feature also helps with that. I am curious what other players recommend to use and think they get the best results from.

Maybe its just me but hunger and thirst seem to go really fast. I carry a lot of food just in case. Also last night was weird. I was a cooking a chicken on the stove and I caught fire and was screaming. Luckily I did not die. It reminded me of "The Sims" games where someone encounters a kitchen fire and freaks out. ROFL

San Andreas Policing Overhaul Vehicle Pack (LSPD, LSSD & More)
I tried this out using DLS 1.4 and a lot of the vehicles work with it but a few of the light bar lights are out of alignment and super bright as are the wig wags.

I am curious, there are many folders within the talkative player to chose from. In these sub folders I chose the extended version with gossip. Do I take those files and overwrite the talkative player main file in plugins lspdfr or does it stay in the subfolder thats in the download.

ReportsPlus - External MDT [NEW Custom Reports]
I cannot wait for the update that adds notifications on warrants. The mod is missing a lot of immersion without it. That said its a great mod. So glad that the data matches up with whats in game. My only question is if we have to run the serve when only using one computer? Seems to not work without running both.

I used this with EUP 8.3 and now upgraded to EUP 10.0 and it shows all the uniforms from every department in this mod when I suit up.

Mods working great but I would like to know when this mod saves. does it save if I sleep or go off duty? Also every time i load expanded it defaults to a class A uniform. Is there a way to save the uniform you wore on duty? A speedometer and gas hub on screen would be a cool addition to this mod since simple ctrl is no longer being updated. you probably had a police station interior mod in the past. The old SAHP station mod will cause you too fall through ground. After i stopped using that mod, Expanded no longer had that issue. It has to be a mod you had.

I hope sex crimes, porn, and ticketing is in there? I ask because other mods like this are missing several lore charges for crimes I encounter that have no ticket or arrest offense in the system.

I am curious if when using the gas pump it disconnects from the pump and goes in the car like LSPDFR expanded? Always thought that was neat. I do like the look of this and the fact it makes mild changes that will not effect your agency and car setups.

Dynamic Lighting System
I grabbed those a few days ago. Its certainly a start. I wish I had time to learn how to do this and where to start. I would work on them all. I already made a config so EUP 10.0 uses all the addon cars with EUPFR UE because the configs since 8.3 were only setup to use the stock game cars, even the addon versions since 8.3 only used stock vehicles in the agency.xml's so I edited them. Someone did that for ultimate backup already so thats done too. Now its just a matter of doing the DLS V2 configs. I wonder if the LSPD, BCSO, and LSSD 2.0 packs by 11john have been done in V2? I been looking. I imagine he only released the scouts because its probably time consuming to set up all these light bars.
