I must say, LCPD:FR is possible the best thing to come to the PC !

The only thing I have a problem with (don’t know if anybody else dose) is the AI traffic... The problem mainly lies with the ambulances and fire departments, the actual cars themselves aren’t great but there ok, but I suppose GTA:IV itself was like that before any mod.

The thing I have is random ambulances and fire teams appearing every 3/4 mins with lights and sirens on driving into lampposts, walls, and lines of traffic etc, basically just getting in the way and not actually responding to call outs (that’s the most frustrating) and I must admit, the sound of the sirens do get annoying after a while. For me it is just taking the realism out of it.

Not looking for support as the game is playable, just wondering if I am the only one with this issue ?

your not alone  it's widespread from what i have read.

myself I don't even like to bother calling for a "bus" anymore.. they just go nuts when they do actually come near.. crash into everything  and just ugghhhhhh...          lol

// This variable controls how frequently emergency services will be dispatched throughout the city.
// The variable is represented in the code as a 1 in [variable] chance of a dispatch occuring,
// which happens every 15 seconds.  To increase the chance that a dispatch will happen, decrease
// the variable (do not go lower than 1), and to decrease the chance that a dispatch will happen,
// increase the variable (you shouldn't need to go any higher than 100).

// NOTE: The default value, 8, should provide for a balanced experience.  If you experience crashes
// which may be related to these dispatches, increase the variable.

ChanceOfRandomDispatch = 90

That should stop the constant spawning of ambulances

The rest of the script will still function perfectly normally

Use the Traffic Load mod instead.  I use to use Traffic Flow but you get the crazy ambulance drives and only 20 different vehicles.  With Traffic Load you get ALL the cars in game and no F'ed up ambulance drivers.

Also, I use the coroner most of the time.  They are decent drivers and they will pickup bodies and clean up the scene.  They also fix up the suspects that are still alive so you can then arrest the hunched over criminal.  After a nice long shootout with a gang, a few times I had the coroners van stuffed with body bags and I didn't get run over by EMS.

Good day,
