coroner and tow truck

Hello, it baffles me that those who made LSPDFR didnt think of adding those two services to the M menu or B for backup under another code.

I mean, we all know that police arrest people out there on the roads and have their car towed away, but here in the virtual world of playing a police officer it does not exist.

I have to ask, why not?

If i had any programming knowledge i would offer my help to make this possible, but i dont and that is why i am asking. I sure hope people are mature enough to discuss this and not just troll me with some random childish answer.

It would make sense to me that it had been a option in the B menu to call for those.

I know there are plugins like Stop the ped, but this is not what i am asking for.(i already use that)

This is something very "basic" for a police officer, just like when they call Emergency Medical Services (EMS) that is also a option ingame atm.

I really like to know why this is not a basic option in the LSPDFR menu.

I am looking forward to hearing from you guys and thank you for reading my post.

i understand you,

but lspdfr cannot add all features everybody wants. thats why there is our big community who add a lot of callouts and plugins.

but lspdfr is getting bigger and bigger with each update, maybe there is a chance it gets implemented.

The bad thing about some plugins are that you have to be Online to use them.

I hope this comes to LSPDFR one day. I would rather play with that only and no plugins.

you can try the plugins initially from albo, but updated by aschtar: https://github.com/Aschtar?tab=repositories

ArrestManager has a tow truck, you can combine that with policesmartradio.

those can be played offline

you dont have to use its vocal function, it comes with a radio too similar to the old policesmartradio, just press c.

It baffles me that people complain so much about a FREE mod.

It is relying on other plugins for the tow option to work and i dont think it works offline.

If you want to criticize any free modifications, go ahead, but do it in a constructive way!

And if you think you can do better, do it.

Opus did a great job developing the plugin and probably put weeks of work into it, while you were sitting on your couch.

And like, don't get me wrong, I understand your point here, you want the plugin to be updated, but you need to understand that we are doing this in our free time.

FWIW, I've spent *years* updating and providing support for these plugins. The criticism here doesn't even make sense -- Grammar Police was never designed to call a tow truck. It's a vocal interface to LSPDFR and other plugins. And it doesn't require anyone to be online. It's just so silly -- this guy is mad that the free plugins that we've donated don't work exactly the way he personally expected them to. I can't imagine going through life with that sense of entitlement.

Totally agree with you! I have no way of knowing your age group but entitlement such as what you are referring to is sooooooo generational. I'm not bashing anyone but I am old enough to say how things used to be versus how they are currently. It's ridiculous. Please keep up the amazing work you do for the community because so many of us appreciate your contributions more than you can know.

While I can't speak for G17 Media and their Development Team as all I do is test their builds, I can give my thoughts on why it may have never been a feature.

It could have just not been a priority feature within the early builds of LSPDFR. And by the time it was considered, Albo had released his PoliceSmartRadio which included coroner and tow truck service.

Jump ahead a few years and StopThePed was released with a more advanced coroner and Tow Truck system for it.

Since two major plugins already exist for that, I can understand why they have been hesitant to add it to the base LSPDFR. After all, a community and mod for the people and built by the people.

Now keep in mind, if you do not like StopThePed because of the internet issue, and I can understand why, you can always use PoliceSmartRadio which has received an update by the wonderful Aschtar. It's always worth checking out.

I hope this has provided you with some clarity and given you some options to explore.
