i installed els v5 and when i try to turn on the lights nothing happens unless i press j or k abunch and same to turn then off, so i look and the els.asi ans scroll down and there are a bunch of errors, anyone know how to fix it

    Press ALT+M to activate the ELS menu. Make sure you have AUTO mode on which will activate the lights when you press "G". Turn Auto Mode on by pressing ALT+T.

    Re-install ELS and leave it with default settings. Then try again. Hope it helps!

    I had the same issue (see my oldish thread @ support section)

     

    the only solution for ME was to install windows XP and play gta under that. els would not work under 7 for some reason.

     

    no definitive cause but it could be some update or possibly even driver. too much hassle to track it down tbh
