GTA IV Crashes after I saved a game while using LCPDF

Featured Replies

First I'm sorry for posting in the wrong section, please move this to the LCPDFR Support section, but it won't let me post there, it says you are not able to post a new topic, and I need help.

So I finished my shift on LCPDFR and to be realistic I went to Nikos house and saved the game before exiting LCPDFR because most cops come home still in uniform, and with their patrol cars. Well I exited GTA IV and the next day started up GTA IV, it loaded up fine until the short black screen when it's just about to load up, and it crashes. I ran GTA IV as an admin and still crashed. I'm using GTA IV 1.0.7.0, and windows 7 64 bit professional. Is there a way to delete my latest save file and start again? I never did the second mission the latest I am in the game is when you leave for the first time and it gives you the little tutorial, because all I do is play LCPDFR.

Download a savegame file and you should be good to go.  Had the same thing happen, but due to a different reason.  Loaded the savegame I picked up online, and all is well in LC again!

Don't save your game whilst on duty. Messes everything up

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

By my understanding in order to use a downloaded save game you need xliveless therefore you will not be able to play online. I may be incorrect.

correct.
