The Intrepid is lookin' much better now   Though isn't easier to convert the vehicle than being mixing and remodeling IV models? xD Anyway, can't wait to see the front of the car!

Proud to say that we are almost done with our Dodge Intrepid model. 

It is likely to be on of the first models made for IV. 

We will most likely be releasing a civi version and MANY police versions.

It will remain LOCKED.

(Note:We are making this vehicle by combining IV vehicles. No conversions involved)

Also, we know about the indicator lights not being fully accurate and will be working on it before first release. :D

As Beckugan1 said, we will make multiple Intrepids. I believe this is a civil. The police version will not have a spoiler.

We have had Many requests for the intrepid.

We will not be taking those model requests into account when releasing our initial police vehicle models.

However, down the road, we may be able to get them done.

 

 

For everyone who requested a VEHICLE MODEL, we will not be able to get your request done by christmas(for those of you who put them as your deadline).

 

We are working specifically on the intrepid right now. 

Also, please keep in mind that we too have families and such commitments during christmas so just because we have time off of work and school does not necessarily mean we will have the time to do models.

Yep. This thread will be updated with a new post and a link added to our OP for you guys.

Also, we are going to attempt to sync the release of a version of this vehicle when we unveil a new, user friendly website we have been working on lately. 

The site will include:

• A direct application to submit requests.
• Ability to say what mods are open for requests at current up to date times
• Public forums for you guys to chat with eachother AND us.
• "Meet the Team" section which includes an About Me paragraph and a video that we feel represents us. 
• Downloads section that includes images of our releases and links you directly to the LCPDFR.com download file. 
• "Join Area 51" application for anyone wanting to join. 
• "official Thread". This is a direct link to this thread.
• "Updates" This is where we will post daily or frequent updates about WIP's and other cool things.

 

We are hard at work with all our models, textures and the site.

For those of you unfamiliar with my current project, you can update yourself here:

 

and to those of you joining me from the previously mentioned thread, here's a little update!

 

 

As you can see, the wheel is coming along nicely :D

i have pretty much the entire outside of the vehicle set up in terms of materials and mapping, with the exception of the dirt layers, which i'll be working on last. I'll be moving on to the materials and mapping of the interior of the vehicle after i wrap up all the holes in the model.

If you look between the bodyshell and the chassis, you'll notice a nice big, fat hole right where the doors are supposed to meet the body. I'll be making surfaces for those holes next. I'll also be creating an inside surface for the Hood and Trunk. When opened, you can see through the other side. That's definitely something that i have to fix. There's also holes in the sides of the doors, in between the dashboard and the bodyshell, etc. Most of the model is just the inside and outside surface, which isn't good. All in all, this model should be done by christmas!

All members will have access to a public view-private post blog where updates will be posted.

Upon release, it will be added to the download sections of the site, and then this thread will be updated. :D

To better coordinate your requests, and create a better environment for you and I, we have created a website.

 

We now have a form in which you can fill out to submit a request (Once we reopen it). You will also be able to view our mods, as well as our team. If you believe you would be a great member to the Area 51 Team, you can submit an application. We will have a public forum to talk to the team, or just talk to other members. We also have a blog, so you can keep track of what we are working on, what we have released, and any other news about the team.
