The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

NPCs aim at me, but never shoot.

Featured Replies

I installed LSPDFR today and added some callouts and other plugins, but to my surprise, (hostile) NPCs don't ever shoot me. They'll aim their gun straight towards me, but never actually pull the trigger. I have discovered, however, that when the NPCs are downed (as in lying on the ground, but not dead) or in cover they will start shooting me.

At first I thought it had to do with one of my plugins, so I removed them all and only kept LSPDFR itself, and when that didn't work I reinstalled LSPDFR entirely but the issue still persists. Anyone else getting this bug?

I have this problem too, though it was the plugins so I disabled those(by changing the lspdfr folder name(in plugins)) but didn't solve anything, but good to know that I'm not the only one here, I was

Yup, did almost exactly the same as you.

It's an unfortunate situation, but at least we're in the same boat 😉

add some words

I noticed that when npc's try to shoot in the ragepluginhook console they get these warnings / logs:

1) Allowed non-ambient ped to shoot due to flag

2) Allowed civilian to shoot

did it come out?

Yup. Build 7874 now also includes a fix for NPCs not shooting their weapons. So just download the update and you're good to go!
