will the new game mean no update for gta iv no further version for lcpdfr just for gta v?

Well, there hasnt been an update for GTA in a while. Also, it is going to be at least a year after the release of GTAV on console before PC version is released. After that, it is not clear how long it will be before it is moddable. Some have said it could be a matter of weeks if it is similar to GTAIV set up and I have also heard it could be a few months.

I am assuming they are still planning the release of RC3 considering there are quite a few vids of RC3 on youtube.

OTOH, the devs might be too busy playing GTA V to develop LCPDFR.

My hope is that V is such a better platform to mod for that LCPDFR will be much better suited for that instead of IV.

I think the fact that people still do mods for San Andreas and the SAMP servers are still getting used showes you that by the time V will come out it doesn't have to be the end of LCPDFR. Sure a lot of people will be away for some time playing V on the consoles but i'm sure some will come back xD or even wait for the PC Version of V.

Yeah just because GTA V is out doesnt mean LCPD:FR is finished. but who knows they might make a LCPD:FR mod for GTA V:)

Most of us will move on to GTA V modding most likely. There's still a lot of work to be done on GTA IV though :)
