byankeesjeter, I've noticed that T-shirt paramedic have only white arms (even if their head is black). I've fix that so black guys have black arms, asian guys have asian arms and so on.

Awesome models!

Oh wow, I never noticed that while testing for some reason. Would you mind if I added your files to the download? While giving you full credit for the fix of course.

  • I love it, too

No problem! Fell free to use them :)

Unfortunately not yet. I'm having some issues with getting the badge and gun belt to spawn simultaneously. Hopefully I'll have fixed it soon.

I'm not sure if you can force them to but are you using suse and sus2 for those extras? What if you tried including the badge mesh as a pedprop, like a hat?

Right now I'm trying to mess around with sus2 but no other peds seem to have a sus2 in their .odd file even if it's listed in ped variations. I think I might have gotten it. I have tested it in game and everything spawns perfectly, there's just this weird issue where the holster kind of wiggles as if it's not solid. I might release it anyway since it's pretty easy to ignore. Anyway here's my progress so far.

I used a different ped so that the badge wasn't hidden, and I actually think it looks pretty nice.

I added both your files to the download, thanks again for the fix.

So just a ped with the EMS style pants, a gun belt, and a t-shirt? I'm sure I could try that.

Yeah, pretty much!

ETA on the release of the plain clothes officer?
also just a quick question, would it be possible to put the tactical gear like the leg holster and the vest onto say a normal cop ped?
could i do it through combining ped meshes?

Hey guys first of all thanks for all the positive comments I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you guys like the peds. Secondly sorry about not releasing the plain clothes officer. The model is done and I'll release it soon. Then thirdly about this request:

I'm not sure if something like this has been done, but I'd like to see a K-9 handler to go with all of these K-9 cars. Something like this.

I made two versions, one with the pmedics pants and one with the cops pants. Whichever one people like more I'll put into the new pack, so let me know.

EMS pants:

Cop Pants:

I can release both if people want it, and provide more views if needed just let me know.

Once again I'm open for requests so just post them here, and if I can I'll make them.

I personally believe that the cop pants one looks the best, more professional. Minor tip, you should probably make a new normal map (GIMP has a plugin for it) because of the lack of badge or patch holders. Or else simply write POLICE on the back and front, without a badge.

Also, as you seem to be taking requests, you thing you might be able to make a 'true' short sleeve uniform for the cops? Basically, get rid of those awful thermal sleeves so we can stop painting them skin colored. This would require actual model editing, not just mix-and-matching +new textures, so it'd be a little harder, and possibly out of the scope of your ability.

Thanks for suggestion. I'm most likely going to remove the patch since it didn't look very good anyway. But for the badge it's supposed to look like it was printed on the t-shirt just like in the picture above. On the back it says "POLICE" and under that "K-9". Here are pictures of the text and no patch. Like always I'm open for suggestions.

About the other requests. I'll try and make a cop with short sleeves and shorts. I doubt that I will be able to make a real short sleeve uniform shirt considering I have no experience in actual modeling. But I'll see what I can do. If there's anything else you guys want just let me know here.

The back looks excellent. The front could probably look good with a really small "police" text where the badge is, as it wouldn't skew as easily.

I think it looks a little empty that way. But let me know what you think.

another suggestion, how about a nice looking model with short sleeves and actual shorts with a duty belt

@echo04: Check the downloads; I did this a while ago, and finally made screenshots and released.
