I am going to try the steam overlay ,  I noticed mine was enabled ,  I can play for about 40 min then bam the stutter starts and gradually gets worse the longer i play ,  but everytime i restart the game is goes away for another 40 min ,  I also play with steam in offline mode ?  Not sure if that helps or not

No the offline mode shouldn't matter.. The overlay and running recording software in the background might matter, some people have to disable them and some don't. also, if you have an Anti-Virus, temporarily disable it while you're playing for testing purposes only. The strange thing about the stuttering is that it's not constant as you can play without stuttering for 40 minutes.. then again, it makes no sense that a restart instantly fixes it..

Sounds an awful lot like a memory leak...... Which other users with Windows 10 were sporadically reporting for a while, not sure if that's still an issue or not. Could be that Traffic Policer is simply pushing the system over it's limit with the ambient events and all.

@anotherc6vette, how much RAM do you have, and how much is being used by the time the game starts stuttering?

I have 16 gb ram and its on a i7 4790 3.6ghz with a gtx 970 FTW+ ,  I noticed the memory usually stays around 5-7 gb while playing , but does go up to 7 when its stuttering ,  and also thanks for the responses and help guys ,  whats really weird is that i use to run a gtx 750 but i never had any stuttering ,  now it was a the minimum settings but im also not really pushing the 970 to its max ,  i noticed when i use directx 10 it takes longer for the stutter to start

Have you tried playing with only Albo1125s Plugins? I'm not experiencing any stuttering. There are others who have said the same thing as you have. Then there are others like me who don't experience these stuttering issues. That makes it very difficult to pinpoint what the issue is..

I can tell you 1 thing I don't do is play LSPDFR with my Anti-Virus running in the background.. I've actually had performance issues with that running in the background, so I temporarily disable it while I'm playing LSPDFR..

Are you running any recording software in the background? If on Steam version, is Steam Overlay disabled? Obviously not everyone has issues with those things, but  they can cause conflict with RagePluginHook.

Can you post screenshots of your entire GTAV Directory, Plugins Folder and the LSPDFR Folder that is sitting in your Plugins Folder. Use http://imgur.com/ to upload your images and copy/paste the link here.. Maybe others will see something you don't.

I've been doing additional testing and my game stutters like hell when a callout ends or a callout is about to occur. I've just put a clean install of my game on my SSD and I will try only Albo's mods.

(This definitely shouldn't be a PC related issue though, as my PC is pretty beefy so that part is cancelled out)

can you show me a screen shot with all of the plugins you are using both in the plugin and plugin/LSPDFR. I have an idea of which mod is confliting with Traffic Policer causing the lag but I'm not sure until I take a look at what plugin you are running. Also a list of any other mods you are running...like buildings, road textures, ENB, etc...

I just went thru and double checked your files (and for myself)

NOTE:
anything with "hasn't been updated for awhile" just means I have been checking often on these in the past and I havent seen any updates from them (recently)...I ,personally, dont know if they work in 0.3.1 of LSPDFR or not, but if they do, let me know so I can use them

Remove Safe chaser, Allthings, and EntitiyPersistance. Also StraysCallout. Once you do this run the game and see what happens. It may be a few more you need to remove, but lets see what happens..

I can confirm that all of these, except for Allthings (don't use it) work fine for me.

Really appreciate all you guys trying to find it out, thanks  Let's get the cause identified.

Well, I've found a very sneaky, small logical overflow error - I'm not sure if this is the cause of the lag issues and I definitely find it weird that not everybody's experiencing issues with this overflow error, but the fix will be in the next update. Either way, it should definitely help mitigate lag!

I love the new custom pullover location feature.  This is going to get used a ton and I am sure all the vid makers on YouTube will be implementing this as well.

Albo I think I might have found a small bug with the follow feature. It looks that the ped will not follow if they're in the drunk or drugged animation. Is this standard or no?

Edit: after continuous testing it looks as the peds will not follow at all when asked to step out of the vehicle during a traffic stop bro. Just a fyi.

I'm sorry to say it, but it seems your fix did not change anything for me. I'm still getting lags after 30-40 mins of playing lspdfr.

Im still in the same boat Rambos ,  its like the smallest stutter when you sit still you can see the stutter of a passing vehicle ,  almost like it drops a frame but it isnt actually if that makes sense ?

Bro, no need to keep letting the group know the same thing with the stuttering over and over again....trust me I know and have made it a point to make Albo and other well aware of this issue and being as not many people are having this issue it’s hard for him to pin-point what the problem is. When I read your first complaint about the stutter, man I feel you because I've been talking about it for a while now. I do however watch when it was happening, it seemed to stop after the Ragehook .37 update happened, and I've mentioned this on here. I'm starting to think it may have something to do with OUR hardware, even though we have pretty beefy set-ups. I'm also noticing the people mentioning the issue have the GTX 970 Graphics card and the I7 4790 processor like I do. With that said, so far the stuttering has subsided for me after removing “safe chaser” and a few other resource heavy Plugins (and trust me any plugins that perform the best need resources). I feel this is strange being as my card had 4 GB to itself and I too have 16 GB of ram on my gaming pc and yet still get occasional memory error crashes. We (meaning the community along with Albo) will figure it out eventually… because trust me, I know it’s frustrating when you have mods like Albo’s, that make the game so much more enjoyable, because I feel it also lol. I was having and still CAN have the same lag issue as you when I use certain plugins along with Arrest Manager and Traffic Policer. We hear you bro trust me and looking for a resolution lol

I dont think it is a albo issue  ,  i just seems weird that my old 750 never had any issue at all ,  i am also running .36 ,  it has to be a 970 thing ,

i will keep going till i figure out what it is ,  i have a feeling other people have a diff kind of stutter thats why i mention it to see if that particular person is having the style i am ,  and sorry im not PC person and because of that i have to ask questions

Would it help to run some bench marks? Or video of this on going issue? Not saying I'm having the same lag issue. Or posting system specs?

I would guess the more detailed information the makers of the mod have and those helping, the better understanding they will have to know what the issue(s) is. And resolve the issue in a timely manner.

Just saying.
