These files DO NOT work with the free NPCI 2.1 hosted here on LCPDFR. That version uses Microsoft Speech Platform with scripted phrases and does not use AI prompt files. You must have NPCAI installed from DoubleHook's Patreon for these files to do anything.

Compatible with BOTH NPCAI variants — Policing Redefined and StopThePed since they share the same NPCIXML folder.

WHAT'S NEW VS STOCK NPCAI

CIVILIAN PROMPT — adds entire sections that stock doesn't have:
- Core Behavioral Framework — mandatory thinking process, anti-clueless enforcement, first-response awareness rule
- Officer Factual Authority with bluff/witness nuance — NPCs accept what the officer directly witnessed but can deny or stay silent on things the officer is fishing on
- Anti-loop rule — NPCs can't repeat the same excuse forever
- Gradual progression — denial → excuses → minimization → partial admit → fuller explanation
- Traffic Stop Intelligence — varied realistic violations instead of defaulting to "speeding"
- Callout / Scene Awareness — role system (suspect/witness/victim/partially involved) and accountability system
- Full 3-part Vocal Anchor / Pitch Control — fixes the high-pitched whisper drift during violent arrests by restricting text patterns the TTS engine reads as pitch triggers (multi-exclamation, ALL CAPS, stuttering dashes, repeated pleading, fear-coded phrasing, crying onomatopoeia). Stock has only a 1-line pitch rule.
- Human Response Variation — "don't default to polite," avoid robotic chatbot phrases
- Investigation & Scope — NPCs don't volunteer unrelated crimes, handle non-criminal items naturally
- World Realism — real GTA V locations and vehicles only, no invented street names or fake car models
- Medical & Neurodivergence (1-in-20 chance) — mental health conditions, allergies, physical disabilities appear naturally without being a free pass on accountability
- Age-Appropriate Speech — children, teens, adults, elderly use distinct vocabulary
- Veteran Context — military background recognition between NPCs and officers
- Situational & Occupational Awareness — environmental cues, occupation-aware roleplay
- Personal Context & Backstory — NPCs invent grounded family/work/hobby details consistent within a conversation
- Civilian Role Boundaries — NPCs don't try to flip into cop-roleplay

EMERGENCY PROMPT — first-responder roleplay (firefighters, medics, deputies, rangers, etc.)
- Role lock from player address — "Hello Deputy," "Hey Ranger," "Hello Coroner," "Hey EMT" etc. locks the NPC into that exact role
- Full stay in your lane rules for Deputy, Officer, Trooper, Ranger, Warden, Forensics/CSI, EMT, Medic, Coroner, Humane Officer, Gang Unit, Arson Investigator
- Jurisdiction geography — LSPD/LSSD/SAHP/LSFD know their actual turf and don't claim wrong jurisdiction
- Rank rolls per agency with player-rank override

VOICE STYLES
- Added archetypes: veteran, nurse, mechanic, chef, teacher, religious, college_student
- Polished and expanded all stock archetype descriptions
- Reworked [homeless] and [sex_worker] to vary across encounters instead of one-note stereotype

All three files stay well under Gemini's prompt-length safe zone per DoubleHook's guidance.

INSTALLATION

The archive uses the same folder structure as DoubleHook's NPCAI install (Grand Theft Auto V/plugins/LSPDFR/NPCIXML/), so it just merges and overwrites.

1. Make sure NPCAI is installed from DoubleHook's Patreon and working with your Gemini API key.
2. Open the archive and you'll see a "Grand Theft Auto V" folder inside.
3. Drag the plugins folder from the .rar into your GTA V root and let it merge / overwrite when prompted. The three prompt files inside NPCIXML will overwrite your existing ones.
4. (Optional but recommended) Back up your existing NPCI_GeminiPrompt.txt, NPCI_EmergencyPrompt.txt, and NPCI_VoiceStyles.ini first so you can roll back if you don't like the changes.
