I try to deploy the spike strip, it says cannot remove spike strip before it's deployed even though I haven't deployed one.

For those with radar and spotlight issues, I fixed mine by changing the text in the GTAPolicingTools script from "gpt_radar" and "gpt_spot_06" to tns_radar and tns_spot_06. The models will not be recognised otherwise. Also update the weapons.xml in common/data - ensure that the radar script is also "tns_radar".

does this automatically go to the game or do I have to move files and all that? lol

Why does the Radar gun aim up in the air when ever I activate it?

Love the mod but the spotlight isn't working for me any more. It worked the first time I installed it and ran them game, now any other time I run the game everything works but the spotlight produces an error. It doesn't crash the game just produces the error message in the top left corner saying this:

Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

After installing the script, I run the game and it crashes when loading ("story mode complete...") with no error popups, it simply closes... Then I notice that the file "GTAPolicingTools.net.dll" is auto deleted every time I put it into the scripts folder and launch the game again and again. What should I do?

I've got exactly the same problem, but no solution... I think that it's because i've installed the map French Riviera.

ok so ive always had this mod (best script mod btw) especially for the spotlight I always used the auto installer but now Norton is being stupid and wont let me I know its not your file so I downloaded the manual install which works but if I plug in the files you included in the pc folder do I still need to edit and add the lines from the install.txt?
