Rockport Police Department Vehicle Pack (v1.0)

 

A re-creation of the police vehicles from the game Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005).

 

All vehicles have been built from the ground up based off the original models from the game. Featuring higher polygon counts for greater detail and 3D interiors to better fit into the GTA V world, gives these gems the refresh they deserve. While keeping them as authentic as possible.

 

I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates on this pack. This has been the largest project I have attempted, learning new programs as I go. And as such this pack has gone through many iterations with even some complete redo's. Finally these vehicles are at a stage where we are satisfied to release them to the public, but far from perfection.

 

Which is why these vehicles have been left unlocked to allow the community to tweak and edit these to their desires, and maybe even fix some of the errors we have missed!

 

I also cannot go without giving a massive thankyou to @DevilDexter22 for his amazing support and feedback. With his assistance with livery/texture creation and modelling (which only scrapes the surface of his contributions), it would not be fair for me to take all the credit. A absolute pleasure to work with!

 

Installation instruction are included in the download. This pack has been assembled into a DLC.RPF for easier installation, with no original game files being replaced.

 

We hope the wonderful community will enjoy these as much as we do!

 

Please feel free to use these in any of your future projects, FiveM servers etc. But appropriate accreditation should be included.

    I love this. A truely amazing game from back in the day. Luckily I still have my copy of it 😉

    What's the rule on dev's using the bases for their own work? Credit will obviously be given ofc.

    I'm happy for anyone to import these and tweak them to suit their desires, hell I don't mind if you rip the entire thing apart. And release them in whatever form or platform they choose. But yes please attach appropriate accreditation.

    Congratulations on the project guys! I've been following this for a while! I would like to offer some feedback, the models are spot on and I am blown away by the fact you guys nailed the lighting patterns for the cruisers. I will mention one small detail and that's the headlight strobes on the GTOs are only in the left headlight. I'm not sure if it's just me but something I noticed.

    Love this work! But is there any chance you can make it as replace version too? I don't know how to convert this to replacement and tutorials aren't helping besides I found only like 3 for converting add-on to replace 😅

    Wow, staggering work! this is the kinda work I would throw money at, congratulations!💞

     

    If this mod got a Replacement version rather than an Add-on so we could add it as to all our police cars for the AI cops too my LSPDFR life would be complete 🥰

     

    We already got tons of NFS 05 scanner voice mods this would be the thing that completes the cake 🤤

     

    Some one out there who is good at Car Replacement stuff We need you aid!😭

    Sorry for the delay @DevilDexter22   Was away with my nose in the books for a while for some tests coming up early next year

    But YES Absolutely yes 😄 

     

    Also the cross racer don't seem to pull over calls for some reason. Never ran into this before just thought I'd bring it up just in case it's a incorrect setting. Maybe it's not classed as a cop car?

    After reviewing the problem @Noel Vermillionhad mentioned, i've found the error. You need to replace in "vehicle.meta" in line 18: "<audioNameHash>buffalo2</audioNameHash>" to "<audioNameHash>police2</audioNameHash>".

    This should fix the missing sirens on the CROSSRACE model

    now THIS is amazing
    i remember the cruiser and the heavy SUV were also in Need For Speed: Carbon which i dumped hundreds of hours into when i was little. seeing these vehicles with a high quality model makes me so happy! thank you!
