This is Urban Callouts.
A mission styled callout pack by Veteranfighter.

 

Current Callouts:

  • Kidnapping: Prevent the kidnapper from committing a murder (added in 0.0.1)
  • Suspicious Cargo: Drive to the caller's position and inspect the cargo. (added in 0.0.1)
  • Pool Accident: A person fell drunk into a pool and swallowed a lot of water. Save her/him. (added in 0.0.1)
  • Trespassing: A homeless person is sleeping on private property. Handle the situation appropriately. (added in 0.0.2)
  • Stranded Whale: There have been several reports of a beached whale, get rid of it! (added in 1.1.0.0)
  • Active Shooter: Investigate the reported location and stop the threat.  (added in 1.1.0.0)
  • Building On Fire: A structure caught fire. Respond to the location, let the fire fighters do their job and catch the arsonist. (added in 1.2.0.0)
  • Plane Emergency: A commercial plane declared an emergency respond and handle the situation. (added in 1.3.0.0)
  • Parking Offence: A civilian reported a wrong parked car, check for a permit. (added in 1.3.0.0)
  • Diamond Casino Heist Act I: Help the N.O.O.S.E. Captain arresting the suspects robbing the casino, (added in 2.0.0.0)  This is rather a mission than an actual realistic callout.

 

Ambient Callouts inspired by Wilderness Callouts:

  • Speeding Vehicle: A vehicle is driving way too fast. Catch the speeder! (added in 2.0.0.0)
  • Armed Person: A person is walking with a gun in public, approach and handle the situation.  (added in 2.0.0.0)

BETA NOTICE: Ambient Callouts are in open beta, which means many bugs could potentially occur. Please reach out to me if you experience any issues.

Those are the default keys. You can change them in

UrbanCalloutsConfig.ini

 

Car Unit name:

In the included .ini file you can modify your unit name, by default it is set to 1_ADAM_13 and can be changed to:

1_ADAM_5
1_ADAM_13
1_DAVID_4
3_LINCOLN_2
4_MERRY_5
7_EDWARD_7

Changing the car unit name will change the dispatch voice lines.

Hey, this crash wasn't caused by Urban Callouts but by United Callouts.

maybe @sEbi3can take a look at it.

Hello, thanks for awesome callout! By the way I want to report an error of this callout. I found out that as soon as I arrived at plane crash site, lspdfr has crashed.

OMG, I just had the casino heist callout pop up for the first time and it looks very promising, I was excited! uuuuuuuuuuntil the Group6 truck arrived, the Swat team swarmed the casino and my screen went black for 5 minutes while streaming not knowing if I just had to wait for something to happen or if it had crashed.

Turns out, it did crash and I think I know why. here's the crash part of the log:

I THINK, it's because the vehicle I use in the RIOT slot was missing a door? or the door didn't open? Maybe there would be a way to pick the vehicle involved in that callout in the Config.ini file in future updates? 

Or I could find a new RIOT vehicle, but I really like mine 😞

Calls are very good, I also got the house fire one in sandy shores tonight. I almost cried, a kitty died in the fire, and while I was waiting for animal control to come pick it up, another kitty came and curled up in a ball against the crisp cooked kitty 😢 here's the clip if you understand french.

I was using the MRAP

 

it might also be because of a meta files too, I didn't install it with the dlc it comes with.

Hello, you could just add the MRAP as an addon car and replace the vanilla one with a model that comes with some valid doors.

Otherwise I will fix this issue for the next patch, but it'll take a while until then.

Bah, like I said, i WAS using the mrap 😛 I changed it to a simpler Lenco Bearcat, haven't gotten the call since though to test.

Bah, like I said, i WAS using the mrap 😛 I changed it to a simpler Lenco Bearcat, haven't gotten the call since though to test.

This is a fun callout.  I did find the issue where it was showing older versions.  After the update, I had to ReloadAllPlugins vs just going on duty.  No idea why that made a difference since this doesn't sit at the root plugin folder.  Now that it's working I am thrilled to continue using this.

I don't see an issue within your log, did the crash occur more than once?

Sorry, you're right... it does to me with all my callouts.
As soon as I am less than 1km away. as soon as i get close to a call no matter what my game crashes for no reason. Since it was the first time it happened to me, I thought it was your callout... but it seems to do it to me all the time. If anyone knows why I'm a taker.

Callouts keep going to code 4 when accepting. Accepted the stranded whale callout and it happened recently.

Hey, me and other LSPDFR Mod developers are well aware of this issue. Sadly there doesn't seem to be a fix for it. If there's a solution for it, I will try to fix it.
This isn't only a UrbanCallouts problem.

I do like the callouts, but I keep having major issues with the ambient. Multiple times a backup officer has been targeted for the armed person event and suddenly kills the suspect or shoots at myself or others during a traffic stop. Even had a coroner stop mid work and walk away which further delays cleaning up an incident and opening roads back up. Is there any way to turn the ambient off?

 

Edit: I found the ini file to turn ambient off. I forgot it was in a folder since I've been using this for a long time before a different script added more ai officers making the ambient issues more noticeable.
