[NON-ELS] Unmarked Pack 1.0.1

(0 reviews)

13 Screenshots

A lot of time and dedication has gone into this pack, I have had sleepless nights due to this pack lol. I dont really do this for the money and i want to prove that so therefor i'll release this that i spent probably around 2 hours on each car, so around 20 hours intotal probably. I just ask that you dont take credit for these vehicles, not unlocking them, re-selling them on some sketchy site or in general.

You can still turn the siren off independent of the lights without ELS... Its a basic LSPDFR function. (without LSPDFR I'll admit I don't think you can though)

1) because maybe it looks better when AI police vehicles on scene have lights on instead of having them off

2) you can mute the siren with non-els, too

3) if you know how to code, non-els can have the same flash patterns as els

4) els causes issues like texture loss or crashes

5) non-els cars are able to use more extras separately (like rambars and so on) - els uses the extra-slot for the lights

6) try to shoot els lights - they won´t break or in case of a crash - they stay in position. Non-els breaks

anything else to ask? 😉

aha, ig you could put is as a wigwag pattern with red and blue, going on and off non-stop leaving no lights off unless you turn them completely off xD

Never seen a more acurate description for Non-ELS lights 👌 When made properly, they look way more natural!

Since Capt14 showed everyone how to make use of the carcols, there is no need for ELS imo!!!

https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/police-lights-without-siren

(good thing is cars drive aside even when using code 2 / but turn them off at the burglary callout. It just mutes the siren but AI still think it´s on)

I guess non-els and els is more a personal opinion thing. I had both and it turned out that I am better with non-els (mainly because I had texture issues with els and I wanted a realistic setup with the response of units and on scene). During this period I switched between both so I learned a lot about these things directly myself. Also about the issues and the good things of each. First it looked weird seeing the pushbumper of a non-els policecar turning on and off with a double flash during the siren on using els. But if you understand how things work it´s just logical. It took months to learn everything but now I am very happy with the result and not longer afraid of using FiveM cars for singleplayer. First it was a pain in the ass seeing all these non-els cars for FiveM because I didn´t know how to implement the sirensettings, now I am happy with every new FiveM car that´s released 😂 ✌️

I enjoyed ELS for a while. The multi set-up lighting, nice takedowns, and over all how ELS functions. However ELS lights don't actually show up in the R* editor, so due to that I have switched to Non-ELS and it's a nice change. It's also easier, if not only possible this way, to tweak light intensity by editing the carcols.

Not really, I guess i didnt really think of it. But might do a #2 pack and will 100% take this into consideration.

put this in your scripts folder and push the assigned button provided in the .ini while siren is on.

It mutes it then until you push the button again no matter if the siren was off in the meantime. (but also after a traffic stop, because then it is on again)

@MarkTheDev

Is it possible you take another model for the fpis? I hate the wheels on it, they are so oversized and you can look through them from the inner angle...

This one here is cool but the inner door is crap (not the panel, the door itself is too thick) and it has way too many non-toggleable extras...

Just a thought, always loved the fpis but just hate the model everyone uses.

And maybe add a 2013 Tahoe to your list, with not so many lights and no ALPR´s on it 😁

That would be cool. An accurate 2013 Tahoe (I have one but it´s a hybrid with toggleable lightbar - looks weird on an unmarked car) and a FPIS are the last missing cars in my fleet.

Looking forward to it!

A lot of comments in here about Non-ELS

Yes you can mute the siren with lights still on - basic function of LSPDFR
Yes you can have a few siren options while still using a Non-ELS vehicle
Yes you can have ELS lights show up on Rockstar Editor - I do it all the time on my videos
No you not need a script to turn off sirens, with lights still on.  However, I do admit the script might come in useful for when you get back into the car with sirens going off.

BTW, nice pack of Non-ELS vehicles here.

Appricate it, If you are confused about NON-ELS please read what OfficerBenzo said and do a bit of researching for scripts and such that fit you. Thanks for the comment.

BTW one last thing:

You should use the 2016 FPIU (Explorer) Base by Kane. The best I´ve ever seen.
