Dynamic Lighting System v2.0.0

Welcome to Dynamic Lighting System, a full-fledged light control system that allows for in-depth control of the vehicle's lighting system.

OVERVIEW OF FEATURES

Multiple custom stages for non-ELS vehicles without taking up the vehicle's extras;
Fully setup and customizable siren control with configurable and add-on sirens;
Ability to create numerous additional features like SCAN, Blackout, Steady Burn...;
Easy to set up for new vehicles (without changes to the model itself or the default .meta files);
A lot more...

DO YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH DLS?

Read all documentation included with DLS and verify any custom XMLs you made to make sure you haven't made a mistake while editing/creating configurations.
If still giving errors, post it there or on my Discord Server or as an issue on the GitHub repository.

DLS IS OPEN-SOURCE!

DLS is and will always be an open-source project and nothing around it will be behind a paywall.
If you're someone with C# experience or programming experience in general and feel like contributing to DLS the help would be surely appreciated.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

DLS is not compatible with ELS as of release and there are no plans to support them.
All vehicle configuration is set up in an external .xml file and allows for vehicle developers to still share the vehicle as functional non-ELS vehicles with all regular features.
DLS is still in active development and future features are already planned.
Do not post questions as Reviews as I'll not be able to answer it properly that way.

The custom patterns do in fact require being set up, but only require creating a configuration file (w/o editing the model or the .meta files). If you don't want custom patterns and just a basic siren controller it still works fine without having to create configuration files.

ok if i wanted to create an xml file for an selected vehicle is there a folder like else were i would just drop it in?

Should drop inside "Grand Theft Auto V/Plugins/DLS". It's all explained in the documentation.

i got to say this is an amazing idea to shy away to scripthook and you get the best of both worlds for vanilla users and modded users

If in the future this can allow the headlights and taillights to strobe, not just the coronas like ELS does, but the ACTUAL headlights to strobe with configurable patterns kind of like what the following plugin allows, that would be awesome and I can make patterns for them like I did before.

This definitely has my interest. As I've been learning zmodeler this year, I've only experimented with ELS vehicles, but if non-els will have this kind of customization available... <.< I might have to dive into non-els lessons for a while! Not to mention try these out for patrols/streams. Looking forward to it!

It gives siren control to any non-ELS vehicles if you have that option enabled in the .ini file. For the lights features it requires some setting up, it's all pretty much documented in there.

On the Bxbugs Tahoe using that xml you provided I've been having a siren sound on all 3 light stages but not on any other cars. I haven't seen anything else weird so far

Is there any entries with <Tone1>, <Tone2>... for the other xmls? I might have forgotten to configure the sirens properly on the other xmls. If not, just copy the sound settings block to the affected xml files.

I meant there is a separate siren than the one that is supposed to play whenever I have the lights on in the Tahoe in addition to the ones in the xml.

Oh okay, it's just the way I set it up for that vehicle. You can have however many siren tones (up to 4) enabled, to disable them just remove the entry for it (which is what I did to the other ones).

Awesome! At the Moment I use modded Non-ELS Vanilla-like Vehicles (Modded Cruiser, Buffalo, Interceptor, Scout etc...). This fills a major gap in my LSPDFR experience, I'll give it a try tonight!
